Video Chat: Google Style

So, Google rolled out their latest gmail feature recently - Voice and Video Chat. From the looks of the demo it is very straightforward and easy to use. The problem? I installed the plug-in, rebooted everything and still.. no option for video chat. Apparently it might "take awhile" for it to show up on your computer but I'm calling BS on a move like that. If you install a plug-in you should see the results from it instantly, not sure how they thought waiting was a good idea?

Regardless, the plug-in is available for download - but there's not garuantee it will work quite yet.

Unrelated note: Why did Google use a PNG for this image? It contains no transparency and could have been 1/4th the filesize if they'd used a JPEG. Again, unrelated but counts as another WTF to chalk up to Google.
