Nerdy Stuff for Everyday People

  • Google Map of the Stuff that Happened in Cloverfield - chart the path of the events of the movie. Aside from the 'too clever' commentary this is something that I wish more movies had.. gives things a nice context.
  • High Quality Youtube Video Hack - looks like Kottke figured out a way to embed the high quality format and along the way was told that there are even higher quality formats hiding around the servers. Now if YouTube would just unleash the hounds and make them the default instead of their crappy normal encoding.
  • 75 Really Useful Javascript Techniques - okay, this one isn't so much for Everyday People. It's way more for nerds.
