The Fred Muram series of photos Kissing The Ceiling is an odd bit of work but alluring none the less. Catbirdseat, Chromewaves, Fluxblog, Large Hearted Boy and Said the Gramophone now all collaborate on a music site entitled MBV. If you aren't already reading it, you will be soon. Thanks to Mason Bernard I became aware of the upcoming HBO series East Bound and Down (download the pilot if you can find it); an atypical sitcom telling the story of a down and out ex-baseball player played by Danny McBride. It's vulgar, it's Southern and it's kind of perfect for what it's striving for. And now, thanks to Os, I can read all about it. It's still insane to me that David Gordon Green has gone from directing Snow Angels to an HBO series about a guy with a mullet - and it actually works out well.
