Hale Links: Volume 28
Hale Links: Volume 285-Month-Old Baby's Identity Stolen - how great would it be to have a newborn baby get a bill in the mail for a $94 checkup for lumbar support? The parents quote is all "our baby has been taken advantage of" but c'mon.. that's hilarious.
Star Lords - aka a video mashup of Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings aka an uber-nerds wet dream. The first part of the trailer is hilarious due to the similarties in shots and how well the films actually blend together.. the second half of the trailer goes insane and takes things in a whole other direction but it's still entertaining. Watch the whole thing here.
Play-Doh fragrance. Anyone who buys this really wants to smell like a toddler or possibly an old person. Not exactly a marketable demographic.
Best Parade Ever Coming To London - if you never saw the photos from the Royal De Luxe parade, treat yourself now. Incredible stuff and now it's going to London. Anyone that is close by should go check it out - Ronnie, I'm looking your way.
Teddy Bear Gun - much like receiving a free t-shirt from a slingshot, free gifts are always better when shot at you. The best part of this invention is the photo of the inventor holding it like it's a serious handgun. I foresee some new levels of extreme sports coming from this.
Military made SF gay haven - okay okay, the theory is a bit ridiculous and over the top but it's still an interesting read to see how someone ties military exclusion into the San Francisco Castro.
