Dead Silence - Hilarious

Caught the trailer for the upcoming horror movie Dead Silence and laughed aloud in the theatre at the ridiculousness of it. I am not a horror movie fan.. I think that 99% of them rely on shock and cringing reactions to violence to carry their awful plots along. But with Dead Silence you can see that they are starting to move away from gritty realism and go straight into absolute absurdity. Didn't Hollywood already do this many times before? Oh well, I guess a retarded yet successful franchise is still a successful franchise!
