The Return of Futurama - more news

iF Magazine has a rather informative interview with Simpsons / Futurama creator Matt Groening about the future of Futurama and some insight into the new Simpsons movie.

The basic jist on Futurama is that the show will return as four full-length straight-to-DVD movies that will also be reworked / chopped up into 16 new episodes to air on Comedy Central. This is not entirely new news but it is good to hear it straight from Groening. It's also pleasant to hear that they will be released sometime late this year and that most of the talent from the series has returned for this revival.
