Shave It or Save It?

Scott Neas is at a crossroads. He's been growing his beard for a little over a year in hopes of traveling to the World Beard and Moustache Championships but has since discovered he will now be unable to attend. So, the question is - Shave It or Save It? In an attempt to do some good with his hair follicle growing abilities Scott has setup two donations - one in favor of shaving, one in favor of saving. Any amount is acceptable but whichever fund has the most donations by August 14th will determine the winning side.
