Image Resizing via Siggraph 07

Seam Carving for Content-Aware Image Resizing may not sound like anything you'd want to click on but if you've ever had to use Photoshop to retool an image - specifically changing the layout of an image, or removing someone, etc - then you will want to spend a few minutes watch the video. A series of algorithms allows this software to detect the best place to morph a photo, allowing a user to stretch or squash an image on the fly while retaining it's layout. My explanation does it little justice - just watch it. It's like "Photoshop on crack" - via Madrid.
