Bionic Woman executive producer David Eick told SCI FI Wire that he's working on a pilot script for a proposed TV series based on Children of Men, P.D. James' SF novel, which also inspired Alfonso Cuaron's 2006 film of the same name.This is terrible news. Sorry but the film is fine as it is - leave it alone. Don't make it a franchise. Don't attempt to make something you feel is going to be provocative and questions society based on a book / film that have already done it perfectly well. And, especially, don't do it on the Sci Fi network - lamest production values ever.

Eick added that Children of Men will question how society defines responsibility, freedom and a sense of values when it doesn't necessarily believe humans will survive as a species.
Granted, I don't have to watch it but it's still lame that it would even exist.
