Batman vs Batman

After watching the Batman vs The Dark Knight trailer comparison I am convinced of one of two scenarios:

The Dark Knight trailer was intentionally cut to resemble the original 1989 trailer.
The Batman footage was actually not really ever a trailer and is just a clever recutting of clips from the movie to match the new trailer.

I'm pretty sure Option 2 is the legitimate one but since searching YouTube just turns up incredibly awkward "fan trailers" like this one it's tough to say with 100% certainty.

Best part about all this? Finding the trailer for Super Mario Nazi Batman and being totally stunned to its existence.

Trailer comparison from Paul - whom I hope never updates his site because he basically stopped on the greatest thing he could ever post.
