Staple and Pencil Art

Creating art with every day items is not an easy task. It often turns out extremely hokey or so kitschy you can't imagine it anywhere except in a knick-knack shop somewhere. However, such is not the case with Alison Foshee and Jennifer Maestre - both creating great works from seemingly mundane materials; staples and pencils, respectively. Both of the portfolio of works are an impressive sight and hard to imagine the amount of tedious work that went into creating such intricate pieces... well worth the effort though, I'd say.
