I am trying out
SpamBayes
for all my email filtering needs (courtesy of
Duncan). So far I like it just as much as
SPAMnet but it's free, so it's even better. We shall see how well it can actually filter.. I'll let you know.

Another site launch for
KNI. This one is for a housing complex called
Grand Central, located in Florida. Strangely, we've had this site done for awhile but due to little tweaks that kept coming in from the client we just now got the go-ahead to launch it. Overall, I think it turned out really well and it certainly fits the vibe of not being your standard suburban home.

Can anyone verify the validity of
this article? Sounds true.. sounds like it could even be happening at the moment and wouldn't really be reported on.. So, is there an impending draft bill? I don't wanna go into how potentially scary it is (and how infuriating it would be) for there to be a draft.. just wondering if it's in the works.

You think KITT will make a guest apperance on the new David Hasselhoff
rap album? It'd be a damn shame if he didn't...

It's unfortunate that I don't have enough time to play this, but the
Anti-Bush game is pretty amazing. Even if you're PRO-Bush (and if you are.. I will question why you're reading this site), the artwork is really well done and the concept is amusing (and true). If this one hasn't made the rounds yet on the web, it will soon.

Loads of "humorous" videos over at
Timanderic.com. There is some serious hit-or-miss stuff there but it's got moments if you're willing to dig. Watch some
videos, maybe find a gem.

Why is it that
case mods are always so ridiculous? The GuitarPC is interesting but I don't see why people don't try and make case mods that are as sleek and stylish as say..
Apple. Instead people just insist that LED lights through a transparent window are amazing..

Since I am relatively obsessed with the music that
Rob Crow makes, it only makes sense that I would enjoy the works from other members of
Pinback. That being said, I must thank Brian for the heads up on
Systems Officer.. which is apparently the latest work from Zach, of Pinback. I will be
ordering it promptly.. and if you're a fan of Pinback.. I suggest you do the same, or at least
download some.

Thank you
Maura for the link to
3ternity.com -
the hottest yewknee.com rip I've ever witnessed. I'm not sure what I love the most - the poor conversion? the admittance of a "crappy navigation"? or the copyright in the lower right corner? Thanks Dan, you did a great job at being creative.
Well, it's unfortunate.. but it seems that the site has already been taken down. But fortunately, we have a
screenshot! So it can live on in infamy. Thank you
Jamie and Jozef.

The lack of updates today doesn't stem from being too busy, but rather a lack of seeing anything worth sharing. So far not alot out there that I've been too thrilled with. Kind of feels like it's time to start making more stuff of my own, rather than just looking at everyone elses stuff.
In other news, I bought the new
Secret Machines disc this weekend and I think I got duped into buying a promo.. as the artwork consisted of a simple sleeve and no liner notes. I'll be headed to Tower today to verify if I unknowingly picked up an advance copy or not.

Jon Stewart gave a commencement speech, you can read it
here. I haven't read it yet, but I bet it's poignant and funny.

We launched our latest site. This one is for
Brett Hellings, an independent artist that just came out of nowhere. The build was fun mostly because
Daniel attended the original photo shoot and got to art direct from the very beginning - a rarity for alot of our sites. I am rather happy with how it turned out.

Apparently the Dandy Warhols have a special website offer for their fans, you can
order an exclusive 2-disc set of the Black Album (the album scrapped before
Come Down I believe), and Come On Feel The Dandy Warhols. For more details, read
here.

Whatta weekend. Somehow I managed to squeeze in seeing
Mean Girls (Tim Meadows was great, overall.. surprisingly great teen comedy),
28 Days Later (decent.. too much military crap and a lame ending), and
Amelie. (bout time I saw it.. definetly excellent) among attending graduation for a
bunch of
different people and general housework. Back to getting my mad work flow on!

Cool, the Listen to a Movie has moved to it's
own domain. Wonder how long until they get shut down by the MPAA? Hopefully a long while....

Still slammed.. please keep the music recommendations coming... here is a quick taste of things i've had time to look at briefly:
Google to sell banner ads - could definetly suck; New
Gameboy just a rehash of
old styles; New Richard Kelly
movie site - no real info except that there is no real info.
Okay, back to immense amounts of PHP, XML, HTML, ASP, Flash animation, and Actionscript...

Got a Friday deadline on a big site (and loads of updates due for another site)... so, not much browsing for me today. If it all possible, please post some new music recommendations / streams to check out - as we need some new audio digs here in the office.

New Supergrass
mini-site for their upcoming "Best of 94-04" album.. I would rant and rave about how ridiculous it is to put a new (sub-par) song on a best of, but I'm too tired.. and you already agree. Cool site though.
