I just got this
eVite for joining in on War on Iraq. Pretty awesome... the United Arab Emirates response to the eVite is the best. Oh, and
Defective Yeti is probably the hottest domain name I've heard in a long time.

Some new photography digs up from
Assembly Required. It appears that my bearded self was able to make the cut of quality pics.. strange to look back and witness just how massive of a creature that was adorning my face. The other photos are nice too.. I've always loved that shot of Darci dead in the street.

Heads up.. new
Menomena track right
here. It's a slow one, but new free Menomena is still worth a moment to download.

If you haven't checked out the goods at
reboot yet, take a minute to browse the current top 4 sites.
Jee Dub,
417 North,
Tacktikal, and
Epoxy are the top runners at the moment. Thanks to
Daniel for the heads up.

Maybe this is seriously old news, but I'd never seen the Roman Copolla directed
video for the Phoenix song "Funky Squaredance." The song is only decent at best, but the video is a bizarre / engaging / stream-of-conciousness journal. Definetly not like anything I've seen before.

Is it
Art or Crap? Little online quiz to determine if you can tell the real deal from the absolute rubbish. Kind of telling that there is such a fine line.

Hale links: Volume 3
Banksy interview via the UK... I think I may have read it before, but it seemed a bit more interesting to read it while trying to verify if the words matched
the possible face. Silver earring? what?
Jenni Kayne - fashion site. Nice site design and some interesting clothes. Possibly not work safe if your workplace isn't down with translucent clothes.
Boeing 747 Home on eBay. Though this is based out of Nashville I've never seen it, nor do I understand why it's on eBay.
Runnin' Nude - I questioned why I was sent a link to a game where you direct a naked running man to leap over aligators and yeti's.. but then I realized I answered my own question.
Cats Who Paint and a
Japanese commercial... both biasdfzarre in their own way.
Shilo Design.. loads of great motion graphic work. The Viva La Bam promo is particularly nice, and some of the experimental works remind me a whole lot of old
Design Graphik stuff.

28MM has alot of worthy photo's for your viewing pleasure. The 120° in Amsterdam and the Holga Adventure in Bent's Fort are particularly nice. Thanks

So the
Deftones have a
moblog for the duration of the time recording their new album. Anyone know of how the process works for syndicating the RSS feed from TextAmerica? Incorporating such a thing into your own site would be nice.. If all the pics on the Deftones log were taken with cellphone cameras I'll be impressed, but I'm not sure a phone exists in the US with that nice of quality.

Looks like Dave Chapelle may have a movie
in the works. If a sequel to Duece Bigalow can be made, this really should happen.

He may be pushin Beer, but it's always enjoyable to hear Bob Odenkirk get riled up. Check out his
Miller commercials. Thank you

Caution: rather nerdy link. Check out
this page for a collection of icons based in the same theme but with alot of variation. Kind of ridiculous just how similar and bland the shopping cart images are, but the next arrows are all pretty imaginative.

Fairly interesting
interview with ole Courtney Love. It's interesting to hear her comments regarding her new album.. apparently she's not all that thrilled with it either.

Damn! Apparently I'm slammed at work today. Good for me, bad for you. Check out
this shoe morph. It's unfortunate that the final product is one helluva ugly shoe (opinion).. but the stop motion is pretty rad.
Did anyone catch any cool rebooted sites? I've been meaning to browse their site and see what's come of the reinvigoration of the web.

Just to add insult to injury, it appears that my work PC has been infected with the new
Sasser worm. I've got the
Stinger removal tool, but my computer keeps restarting every 2 minutes or so.. making it a bit difficult to run. Hopefully I'll be back on my feet here in a few and can start posting stuff that doesn't have to do with my personal woes.

First it was the random shutting down, then it was the fried power supply, and now.. well.. my home PC just decided that it's had enough. I'm not sure what happened, or why it happened, but I'm going to assume the random popping noise and the processor fan popping off, as well as the fact that nothing connected to the motherboard powers up.. probably means the computer is dead. So, I broke down and ordered a new one, lets hope this one doesn't sound like an aircraft carrier at all times and is a bit more willing to live.

Since it's technically May 1st in the Central Time Zone (the
only one that matters), the celebration festivities of
Moustache May have begun. Not alot to go off at the moment, but as people start uploading shots of thier staches it is a guaranteed good time.

Random anime movie - I'm not a huge fan of Anime, but this trailer features an anime movie done in 3D with toon shading. It's not
as cool as most hand-drawn style cartoons, but it's interesting to view nonetheless. Via
Jeff.
Dutch Trade Shop - get your iron-on velvety flock letters and random designs (pegasus, rodeo cowboy, etc) right here. Via
Chad.
Dokaka - Japanese artist that remakes well-known songs in acapella beatbox style. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is almost too much to handle. I believe this guy is working with the fun-sized
Bjork on her new album. Why do I believe that? Because
Ryan told me so.
