Lots of enjoyable tshirt design from
Peter Smith (aka downfloat). The integration of screenprinting and spraypainted stencils is a nice idea, and the "downup/pouring leafs" books is rather nice as well. Thanks for posting in my feedback so I could find your site.

Nice layout, nice quick navigation, and very intriguing portfolio from
Wilson. Love the lo-fi style mixed with mass attention to detail on some of the pieces.

If you enjoy the "we took song by X artist and mixed it in with song from Y artist" style remixes, then check ut
Go Home Productions for all your needs. The Radiohead ("Karma Police") vs The Beatles ("Day in the Life") is pretty great. Don't be fooled, some are great.. some are.. uhh.. not so great at all (Eminem vs Wings? what?).

Nice
thread on YayHooray! about stencils, shirts, screenprinting, etc. One thing that intrigues me is "bleach printing." Anyone ever done this?

Rarely will you find me posting about a cool looking car - but the
Volvo YCC is basically a new school Delorean and it looks great from the one AP photo. So when is someone gonna get it in their mind to remake the El Camino? I think the time is right. Link via
Nick.

Arlo approves,
Chris approves, and now I officially approve. Download
Middle Man for all your AIM modification needs (that is if you're on a PC). Better than AIM+ and cheaper than DeadAIM.

Damn, that was quick. No sooner do I finish griping about the lack of goods at
Gizmodo, that
Engadget.com launches. It's like Gizmodo in it's prime (which makes sense, as it is the same guy). Thanks for the heads up
Jonathan.

Have a hard time deciding what to rent? Well, let the Internet take care of it for you - check out
What To Rent, take the personality profile, and let the suggestions begin. I've no idea how accurate this is overall but it definetly made some decent suggestions of stuff I'd already seen, or already expressed interest in seeing.

Jon sent me a link to the "XXX-rated"
AIR video from
VICE. Take that however you want...

What the hell happened to
Gizmodo? No updates for a week and then one entry linking to a CNET review? Maybe this is a slow time for new gadgets but still seems odd to me that the site would pretty much halt.. it had alot of forward momentum there for awhile.

While I'm not a huge fan of the new single, the art direction for the new
Vines disc is pretty sweet. Reminds me of
Supergrass and their
Life On Other Planets packaging just a bit, but definetly a different vibe. Kudos to whomever built the site and integrated the video right there in Flash on the news page, very smart idea - and anytime Windows Media and Real Player are shunned, I am pleased.

Lots of great photography / design from
Joachim Baldauf. I particularly enjoy the piece for Jetzt - reminds me of
Bjork.

You can't buy any of it, but the
Black Black label has some interesting clothes. The 'Butterfly Hoodie', while slightly inappropriate for the male persuasion, is well done and is one of my favorites from the line.

The new works from
FGA are an enjoyable view, but the new
other items are great. Amazing what you can do with a little cardboard and glue.

Apparently my version of AIM was obsolete and I was forced to
upgrade. Anyone know if the old hack to remove the ads still works?

I can not thank
BeN enough for having the
Menomena album in his car. I was so distracted by the lovely packaging that I didn't even hear the music (though I ordered it anyway). Upon hearing it, I almost gaurantee this will be in my top 10 purchases of this year - such a refreshingly great record.

I'm not sure if this is random or if everyone is getting the offer to
vote on the 2004 MTV Movie Awards but there's the
link if you feel so compelled. After viewing the
Master List of Films up for nominations I felt pretty great.. I'd seen a total of 11 of the films. I feel great because the loads of others looked like total crap and I'm glad I somehow avoided them.
