The new Cheech & Chong movie has been put on hold because Chong was
selling bongs. Guess he was doing even more "research" for his upcoming role. Too perfect.

Weird.. John Ritter, of Three's Company fame, has
passed away (check the inappropriate "House of Dead" banner ad on the article) as well as
Johnny Cash.

From
bEn Frank - entertaining documentary entitled
Have You Seen Axl Rose? The subject matter is entertaining, but the film itself is pretty funny - lots of funny Axl sighting reanactments.

Saw
Melvin Goes To Dinner last night.. an entertaining film but not one that I'd watch multiple times. The Mr. Show alumni cast was out in full force, but not in the style that you'd expect - most of them were just playing "average" people (excluding David Cross and Jack Black - the creatress). One question - does
Melora Walters play anything except extremely messed up and mildly unsettling characters? Seemed like the exact same role from Magnolia... overall, thumbs up - good conversation starter movie.

Say it ain't so! Apparently
Harry Goz has passed away. If you are unaware, he did the voice acting for Captain Hazel 'Hank' Murphy on
Sealab 2021. I was just saying last night how Sealab is probably the best show on TV - so smart, so bizarre, and absolutely hilarious - definetly in part due to the delivery of the voice actors. So, check out this
soundboard and watch Sealab 2021.

While reading
Wooster I was mildly startled to see some
street art from around Nashville ( we don't really have tons ). Come to find out the guy posting these Barney Fife heads is 16, and has a
website. So, check it out.. support the local works...

I seriously doubt this will last too long - but you can
listen to a movie from this site. Apparently he just ripped the DVD audio and made a little Flash player for it. Listening to Fight Club or Dumb & Dumber is pretty entertaining.

Get your

After watching the new
Kill Bill Volume 1 theatrical trailer I must say that I'm a bit more interested in it's release. Not that I've really taken in alot of movies recently, but it definetly looks entertaining...

Well I'll be damned.. the
Basefield poster competition winners have been announced and from the
looks of it.. my favorite one didn't make the cut. My second choice did (squid girlie) but it's just not the same. Be sure to check out all the
finalists..

I'd say that
this is one of the dumbest things I've read about in awhile... so dumb, in fact, it's hilarious. Especially considering the price he paid to ship himself.

Very very helpful notes about the new Flash Player 7 and it's
cross domain policy files. This is a must read for anyone who has developed a flash site that loads variables (fairly basic). Blows that Macromedia requires this to be done, but I suppose I can understand their rationalization.

Looks like
BCKN blew up.. as in, enlarged the size of his horizontal pics. Very nice (I also just realized that I probably subconciously stole the usage of "excursions" from him for
intentional.. sorry bout that.).

While I'm not feeling everything in the
Simona Schmid, I'd say that a large percentage of it is pleasing to gaze upon. The first entries in the CD/CD Cover portion of the folio are probably my favorite.. but there is a nice diverse body of work to be found throughout. Nice simple presentation style as well.

Stuff like
this probably doesn't even get mentioned on the news but will affect more people than you realize. Changing the definition of "overtime" is ridiculous.. A high school education and dabbling in community college does not constitute a "professional."
