I wish
this kid had made it... but it's kinda classic that he didn't.

Links from
Madrid. Same person, two different sites. I'm not sure what it's for, but
Sour Sparkles has a nice color theme and layout. And the portfolio of the same person can be viewed
here.

I really doubt I could possibly ever log a cooler site.
Icon South Beach is hands down.. nuts. So good.

Well hot damn.. I just finish griping about the lack of harddrive space in iPods and they release
new models with 40 gig drives! Time to start saving...

Here's one for the bookmarks and the checkbook:
Musicstack. Along with
Siren CD,
Amazon, and the occasional
local shopping you're bound to get whatever music you're in need of (and there's always
eBay... like for that rare Tool
Aenima vinyl).

Went out on a little photo excursion with
Jamie yesterday. Kind of interesting to see what completely different results the two of us came up while taking pics in the exact same location (also interesting to see the overlap). Anyway, you can view our seperate works at the following:

Family Guy..
The Movie? According to Cinescape's interview with Seth McFarlane it is in the works with a projected release in about a year, year and a half. It'd be a direct to DVD release, but that's really no surprise. Interesting to see if that actually happens. Link via
David Bean.

Best news I've heard all day. The new
Quasi disc will include a bonus live disc (read all about it right
here). Hopefully
Grimeys will get it.

Some nice new desktops over at the
Veer Archive. The "Brothel" wallpaper is what I'm currently sporting.. even though it looks fine, I wish it was at 1600x1200, as opposed to 1600x1024.

Every quality nerd has some random toys and action figures by their desk. I think I need to add
Einstein or almost any of
these guys. Thanks Grady.

If you ever find yourself wishing that
Rilo Kiley had more keyboards and danceable beats - you need to listen to
Metric. Don't get me wrong, it's not house music - just a different vibe. Very good stuff.. playing Nashville October 3rd at 12th & Porter.

Yep, I'd have to
agree. Well, kind of... mostly that artists need to be pushed, not singles or images. But maybe I'm just naive.

Don't let anyone tell you that our country doesn't have a problem with violence. If they do, smack them and show them
this article. Because then you will have proved your point two-fold.

Nice photography by
Antonio Carusone. Two notes of interest: 1) Alot of the pics are taken with the Lomo LC-A.. I am still pissed that mine is broken. Jealousy abound. 2) The layout of the site is really nice. I've been wanting to see some nice, elegant, clean, yet interesting layouts and this one feels like it fits that mold. Link via

Someone provide me with further information regarding the
FLAC format. I've heard that it sounds as good as raw wav. Is that possible?
