Damn, Hum is playing at this
Furnace Fest. Kinda cool that they are re-uniting for a random show, kinda crappy that it's part of a huge festival that I do not want to throw down for.

If you thought the RIAA was crazy, look at
our government! Trade a file - get 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Now, if you want.. you can buy a blank CD or blank tape and copy your stuff to those and distribute with little punishment.. but do it online and watch out! I think they should just cane people, that seems along the same lines of sanity.

Hello
Pixelsurgeon people. Thanks for the link. And for the record, Blur will never top "Coffee & TV" - great video too.

Somehow, unfortunately, I always forget about
McSweeneys. But then someone, like
Tom will send me a
great list and I will remember how great it is. Here's some
more lists.

Hey, it's Friday! That means gifts for you! Not the most insanely awesomely designed page ever - but check out the new
dwnload area - completely different than the section that's actually part of this site. Hopefully every week I can post something new in there for people to snag.. limited time only.
If anyone knows anything about that band Monochrome that is in the folder, let me know.. all I know is that they put a 7" out on Dim Mak and importing their stuff requires being part of an underground that is so elusive I've yet to figure it out (or at least been too lazy). Great song though. So.. in summation.. go
dwnload.

Check out the photographer Gregory Crewdson. He's in the latest issue of
Print and you may have seen his work promoting
Six Feet Under. He's got a
book called
Twilight. I read
this interview about him, looked at
these photos and found some interesting
google results. See? I did all the hard work.. now you can check him out..

Alright. NWYH has made an online version of
Slaps.. now if it was capable of 2 player action via the internet, it'd be perfect (but it's pretty damn entertaining as it is). Anyone ever made a good rock, paper, scissors game?

Seems like I would have posted about
these pillows before (or at least seen them.. my memory sucks). The Dalek one is great but screw a bunch of $45 dollars plus shipping for a single pillow.

Lotsa new shirts at
2K. While not always stuff I would be interested in wearing, it is always a pleasure to browse and see the styles people have. (I think
Daniel needs
this)

I encountered my first copy-protected CD tonight; a promo copy of the
Rooney CD that I am to review for
Silent Uproar. Guess what Geffen, I don't have a stereo in my room - so I have to go sit somewhere else to listen to this and hope it works. Or at least browse the web and find how to beat your protection... thanks for inspiring me. Oh, and also thanks for inconviencing me when it comes to reviewing your record. You must not have known that people who type their reviews probably have CD-Rom's on their computers. Silly Geffen.

I'm not sure what
this is from but I sure enjoyed seeing Lou Reed, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, and Jack Black rock out to "Walk on the Wild Side." Thank you
The Modern Age.

I have no idea what to think of
this movie. It's got Bill Murray (good), it's got Scarlett Johansson and Giovanni Rivisi (good, again), and it's directed by Sofia Coppola (seems good).
This site has a bit of the scoop about the film.

Finally I can log it! The reason for my lack of browsing and posting. Check out the new site for
IMA ROBOT. Must give huge props to
Daniel and
Sibhod for all the work they provided... I am really proud of the outcome. Good work guys.. hope everyone enjoys.
