Apparently, Ohiogirl did the artwork for the forthcoming Year Of The Rabbit album. I wonder if that means the cover on the Elektra site is just for the "Rabbit Hole" single. I hope so, there are only so many rabbit references a man can take...

New releases today:

Tricky - not that I was ever really a fan, but might be worth downloading a few tracks to see what he's got to offer this time.

Firewater - A band that I really enjoy listening to for a little bit and then kind of plays itself out. But those first few weeks are nice.

Mogwai - More of the same, but it's good...

Ugly Duckling - I remember hearing about these guys years ago, nice to see that Emperor Norton is doing something with them now.

Note to Nashvillians: You must go see The Other Network or we're going to have to sit you down in a corner and have a little talk. Oh, and it's two programs of shows - so you have to go see both.

Did you catch these MiG Photo's? They look like they are screen captured from a DV cam and then put through a nice photo filter. But probably not - just looks that way. And I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Bryan - you have a problem.

You know that album that Steve Burns has been working on for a long time with Dave Fridmann (and various Flaming Lips)? Well, now you can listen to it online. And ya know what? I am lovin it so far.

Some very interesting, and very traumatic, stories in the new issues of Colors (the Violence issue), but the sound effects are ridiculously annoying. And I see no way to turn them off - so mute those speakers folks.

Must remember to devote some time to blek. Loads and loads of stencils - and impressive ones at that.
