I didn't spend too much time here because it's not really for those of the English speaking persuasion, but the paint globbing animation and rollovers are worth the visit in my opinion. Very smooth and subtle with the paint, and janky erraticness with the rollovers.

I finished A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius last night (you know, that Dave Eggers book). I recommend it.. incredibly engaging writing style but, for me, it did seem to go a little over the top with the drama at times. Also ranks up there with one of the more peculiar endings to a novel.

Creepy eBay auction. The video links show the doll in night vision slighty moving.. easily a hoax, but still creepy.

I hate sites like Imagefed... blending a combination of styles seamlessly and effortlessly. This site makes me ill I like it so much. And to top it off, the same guy makes Ninjacruise. Jeez.. shove it down our throats why don't ya?!

In summation.. totally rad site. Love it. Good work. Totally jealous. Pushing me to want to do something even half as good. Thumbs up. Double open-handed thumbs up (it doesn't get better than that).

Can anyone verify the existence of 11x17 transparency paper (or any size larger than 8.5x11 that is intended for printers, not god-awful expensive copier paper)? I've looked online and had few results. So I look to you, my faithful audience, for answers.

Wha?! Run Ronnie Run on DVD in September? Maybe it will be recut to not be so terrible, or maybe my expectations will be much much lower and I will be able to enjoy it. Season 3 of Mr. Show in August, and then their movie in September..

MAILBAG: This one comes from Deselected and I saw it awhile ago, really enjoyed it, and just now got around to linking it. A site, and band, called RNDM (or is just Random?). Definetly a nice layout. The random welcome flash pieces are great.. really enjoying that look and subtle animations. And what makes it even better is that the music isn't totally obnoxious, it's actually quite good.

Love the Flash card for Ralph Myerz & The Jack Herren Band. The photography is great, the plaid designs are great, and that functionality ain't too shabby either.

New stuff up at Fuct. Less merch, more advertising, but I've always enjoyed all aspects of their design. Good stuff.

I, unfortunately, missed the Björk webcast yesterday but have procured tickets for her show in San Francisco in August. Awesome news, except for the fact that the show is on Jerry Garcia's birthday.. must prepare myself for hippy mania.

Woops, forgot to post on Friday! Amazing what happens when you get out of routine. I'll make up for it a bit today. Saw Dahmer tonight and thought it was pretty good. Lightyears beyond Bundy in terms of showing the mind of a serial killer as disturbed and not just pure lunacy.

Interesting article about the artist Matthew Barney. Definetly intriguing.. like to see more of his stuff.
