I'll probably be deemed a traitor to our nation one day for my opinions but I have to
agree with this. The United States IS manipulating Iraq and pulling off a national level of blackmail. There is no way Iraq can get out of this weapons inspection situation positively... Dubya's not going to let that happen. I still think it'd be a great idea to have some other country come in and weapons inspect the US - just to see exactly how many UN rules we're breaking (probably more than Iraq). I will stop now but I could rant on this for awhile... I refuse to believe these actions represent the will of the people...

Ripped from the world of
CMikesell is the
Visual Thesaurus. It reminds me of that site that shows how all the big business's tie-in to each other, but I cant' remember the URL of it for the life of me and you probably don't even remember what I'm talking about. So, enjoy the
Visual Thesaurus.

New works from
ACRYLICK. The [Snp]Shots section in the Acrobatics section of the site makes my day. The opening animation sequence is pretty smooth too...

Nice work to
75 or Less for making the
Yahoo 2002 Top 25 Sites of the year. There's some kitschy useless sites listed in there and it's definetly more about content than design but it's worth a look.

New work from the "long lost member"
Presstube Robbie Cameron. Very similar illustration style to rest of the Presstube catalog, so it makes sense that he's a member. The Receipt Drawings project has some very nice drawings and compositions.. I like the fourth from the end alot for some reason.

It's official, Black and White photography is the stuff. Check
Silvano Eurepi. The contrast on the images is great.. something so simple about the composition of the photos but almost elegant as well.

Dope.
Vector Stains. Love the milkcrate and "Vomitguy and Bird." Really inventive design I think.. great effective use of dirty, but not over the top.

Woah woah woah. I can't even say that I was THAT interested in the content but I had to visit every section of
Neostream Interactive.. amazing animation. Lots of fun but without losing good design.

The web is a strange place indeed. My friend Mike proved this with the site
Seven Peas. No explanation - just 7 Pea's.

I gave myself some pre-Christmas presents today. I picked up a
new cell phone and the previously mentioned drooled-over
Rygar.

I know
someone who is going to spend some time browsing the
Puma Thrift catalog. New shoes made from 600 lbs of thrift store clothing... there's certainly alot of interesting combo's.

We were discussing at lunch what the nerdiest thing
ever is.. and then a commercial for the new
Rygar came on and I got rather excited. So, despite thinking Dungeons and Dragons takes the cake, my excitement over an overhauled 8-bit classic Nintendo game may rank right up there.

Mr.
franK shared a link to
this article entitled "Nothing's Shocking" and it's pretty dead on. I'm surprised at the lack of mention of Marilyn Manson but he makes enough other valid points that I'll let it slide...

You know, there's something surprisingly unshocking about the fact that
Kevin Smith will write Scary Movie 3. Thinking about "Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back" it seems amazingly appropriate.
