Many props to Ben and Madrid for the link to these 5inch.com - blank CDR's - specifically the clear one but 5.7 minutes is not QUITE enough for the project I am working on. Anyone got any leads on some that hold say... 15 minutes?

Spend some time down by the fire with the new edition of Hollandesign. Some very high quality works from none other than Jamie Holland.

New WDDG. It's pretty darn rad too... I like the mail postmark the most for some reason - some small subtle detail.

Where are the quality posts? Well.. I got some KNI work due today so I can't browse around luxuriously.. But tomorrow should be better and I'll have lots of goodies for the upcoming holiday weekend.

closed indefinetly

It appears that the Statue of Liberty is closed indefinetly. My brother said it best (mockingly of course).. "We won't let the terrorists change our way of life!"

What's the longest you've ever been in an elevator? Well forget it, because the space elevator is in the works!

The artwork of Basit Kahn

The artwork of Basit Kahn is up my alley. The photography has it's moments but the artwork has a technique to it that I love.

The Against The Reality project has a ton of varied works. Lots of styles, alot good.. alot bad. And it's all in one huge horizontally scrolling setup.

hamburgers make you fat

posted November 22, 2002 #

Holy crap, eating regularly at McDonalds isn't good for you! And it might even make you fat - especially if you're a growing teen in need of a wide array of vitamins and nutrients. Wait.. everyone with half a brain knew that. This lawsuit ranks up there with "the coffee I ordered was hot" kind of BS. But when you are selling the Big Nasty for $1.00 - maybe you're kind of tempting people to eat your greasy atrocious lame excuse for a hamburger. I say make both of them pay - the corporation just for the sake of it, and the plaintiffs for bringing such a ridiculously obvious situation to court.

reinvigorate

I added a "tracker" from RE_INVIGORATE onto my index page so it takes another second before you get to this page (literally.. 1 second). And for those of you that have the log file bookmarked and just check that.. please come in via the front door. It may be time for some javascript trickery if you don't!

fugazi speaks

I saw Ian MacKaye of Fugazi and Dischord Records speak tonight and it was an incredible thing. An incredibly articulate man with alot of interesting things to say. I love his take on the mega corporate machine that is the recording industry. Even if you aren't a fan of their music, the DIY mentality that Dischord practices is impressive.

Many thanks to sibhod for the heads up about Ad Muncher that has been quietly running in the background and making my web browsing experience oh so much more pleasurable.

problems with TN

posted November 19, 2002 #

You know how Tennessee gets mocked for being a backwards-hick state? It's because of lunacy such as this. Gun laws do not need to be relaxed so people can carry privately concealed weapons into family restaurants, bars, school grounds, or carry loaded rifles in their pickup trucks. This sounds like a bad joke but it is unfortunately true..

TITANS BENEFIT

posted November 19, 2002 #

Clash of the Comedy Titans benefit auction is going on now. If you're a fan of Kids In The Hall, Mr. Show, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, orJaneane Garofalo you can win some cool schwag and help an Autism foundation. I will say - 5,000 to be an extra on SNL vs. 1,000 to meet Conan O' Brien is a true tragedy... I'd prefer to meet Conan any day.
