I must remember to return to
Moluv and spend more time with the picks (such as the game/portfolio site
Pinpin Lelapin).. great picks.

Here's an
article about a somewhat fishy FBI scandal involving monitoring public library internet usage and book circulation. Overall I'm very skeptical but the point about the new US Patriot Act taking priority over state laws protecting individuals rights.

I was reading
Scotts page and pondering "when will
I get to see Bowling For Columbine?", "Will it come to Nashville?" and ya know what..
it is. For those of you outside of Nashville.. yea no big deal.. who cares.. but for those of you in this area, you have to go see this film. I've not even seen it but I guarantee Michael Moore has a message that you need to hear.

It appears that
No Preload has gone the way of the duckbilled platypus. Definetly had some great stuff available..

There's a new trailer for
Solaris available exclusive to the internet but I will resist watching it.. as I know that almost every trailer I've seen ruins a good movie. I'd rather be surprised.. but hey.. you might like it.

I think it's official that I already own too many camera's and definetly don't use them enough but the new
Horizon from LOMO is pretty nifty.. a full 120 degree shot! It's a bit odd that it uses 2 "oridinary sized frames" to create the effect.. as who wants to tape two pictures together? But I think it's cool none-the-less.

Some neat stuff at
Art-Online-Auctions.com - and the proceeds go to a good fund. Definetly a place to keep an eye on for future workings. Thanks
Arkitip.

The video for Breakestra's
Getcho Soul Togetha is pretty nuts.. lots of on spot dancing.. very cool. While not neccasarily my style of music it's definetly got a nice vibe. Thanks for the link Mac.

Put down what you're doing - load up the portfolio of
Stephen Stickler and enjoy. Some truly great works. If you're lazy and don't want to browse them all, just load up the index for the site and check out how much stuff he's done. I like the layout of the site too.. be nice to see what else
Third Thing has done.

I'm sure
Bryan will eat this up, but it seems that a
Pac-Man movie is in development. Remember the old cartoon? GREAT idea for a movie.. oh.. and this one is going to be live-action.. even better. See ya at the video store.

I dunno where he got the link, but
Daniel showed me these
Commuter Cars and my only response is "NO!" Designed around a roll cage? Wearing a helmet in your car? If someone hit you.. forget about walking (or thinking) ever again. You'd be much better off on a
scooter.

Woah,
Jeff is right,
Feric is rad! The mechanical yet natural style for the grahpic arts are super nice and the character design ain't too shabby either.

Pet Peeve #486214: MP3's have a built in identification system typically referred to as the "id3" tag.. or if you wanna get real crazy "id3v2" that stores information such as track title, artist name, album name, year of release, genre, website url's, and even lyrics if you get really into it. But people consistently IGNORE this feature and when I download music it comes up as "Unknown Artist - Track 1." Weak. Learn your software.. or AT LEAST open up your self-made mp3's in winamp, right click on the file in the playlist, and choose File Info. Please... it will help all of us in the long run.

Woah, I love the layout for
Robby Cyron's Photography. So simple and clean but so effective. Love how it utilizes the placeholder lines to bring it all together.. smart design.

Even if you have no interest in seeing it, the trailer for
Finding Nemo has some impressive CG in it.. Pixar is sure to do it again.

Year Of The Rabbit has played 3 shows - all of which can be downloaded
here. Now where are the
Autolux bootlegs?!
