one summer i stayed up every night until the sun rose, and then went to bed. that was rad. the sun is rising soon and i can't decide if i like it or not. however, i do enjoy the absurdity of being awake so long and feeling like a lack of punctuation and capitlization is justified and well.. warranted. note to all you late night workers - the
dandy warhols can prove to be of great assistance for a working atmosphere ("boys better"), or a very poor choice in music to help you stay awake ("orange").

I must say that the
worlds funniest joke is kind of scary. What an odd thing to appeal to numerous countries (look for the italicized text).

Man I hope
this doesn't happen. I do not want to read the ticker on CNN say anything is "whack" or "dope." Kids don't want the news because their apathetic, not because they just can't grasp that damn intellectual language.
Catchdubs has the flyest links.

Amazing conversation/thread going on right
here about Kazaa and it's actual purpose (to steal or to simply share files?). Definetly relates to the goings on over on
Robbies page (and
Erun's) but on a much more grand scale.

Is the girl in
The Wizard the same girl in
Rilo Kiley? My point here? Uhhh... go watch The Wizard (you know you loved it) and listen to Rilo Kiley and see if you like it.

The new
12rods.com site launched and their new cd
Lost Time is available for $15. The new photo's are pretty cool and the site is.. umm.. colorful.. but what's up with the straight up of the
three oh scroller? Be sure to reload the page for more random animals (and be excited, the new album has "The Time Is Right" on it.. aren't you excited?).

I think I may be done downloading full albums before their official release. Maybe a few tracks just to make sure it's worth my money but overall I think I'm becoming a prime example of exactly what the RIAA is talking about. I get so excited about a new album and get so burned out on it before it comes out that many times I don't have the excitement to spend my money on the album.

It seems that the
Urban Dream has been achieved. The result? One humongous
graffiti piece - 800 x 5 meters. "Impressive" doesn't quite cut it as a proper adjective. I love the "toliveforheavenishell" piece, the two outlined business worker people with the orange explosion near them (point of reference for ya), and the guy painting the scene to the left. But all of the portions have something interesting going on.. amazing.

While I can't say I'm a huge fan of the song, the rotoscoping on the
Zero 7 video is pretty rad. It's not all crazy intense like
Waking Life but more one style throughout.

With the exception of the splash page and a lack of inner repeating navigation, the
Red Rose Coffee House and Bistro site ain't half bad. Nice to be able to get their schedule, though I am not a fan of really seeing bands there because after about 15 people cramp inside the place it's not really comfortable - but I'll be there for
Mates of State and
forget cassettes (who have a new mp3 on their mp3.com page, don't miss out).

I managed to finish the vinyl version of
Dwight Spitz last night. Glad I already knew how it was supposed to look or I definetly woulda been screwed. So if you haven't heard the album yet, you'll get your chance when it's re-released on
High Times Records sometime before 2003 (I hope!).
