• Kung Fu Grandpa in the Food Lion Parking Lot - David sent me this last week and I'm still reeling from its perfection. Even if you've seen it already, see it again.
• Elvis Presley Intros His Band - I can't believe who he got to play bass.
• Must Have Popped a Molly - I can't even begin to describe what's happening here. It leaves you with more questions than answers but it's definitely a ride worth taking. Some NSFW language and it may make you question the sanity of humanity but you still have to watch it. via Paige.
• Coupler - Sideman - okay, you need a little rest after that craziness. Enjoy this strangely calming video from Coupler courtesy of Jon Rogers.
• Amish Sex Pistols - not to spoil the surprise but after you watch this skit from BBC2 show It's Kevin head over here and watch this Bill Grundy interview with the Sex Pistols. Amazing.
• Duality - I stumbled across this gif gallery earlier in the week and rather enjoyed the pairing of big cat vs housecat.
• Bengal Cat vs Golden Retriever - if this had any different music I probably wouldn't share it but the zen / trance like state it puts you in is not to be missed.

There are a number of great images from Leonhard Katzel's photostream that have a dark, moody, sci-fi vibe that I probably should have included here but I was so smitten by this particular image that I just decided to let it speak for itself and hope you'd explore more. You don't want to miss out on gems like this or this.

There is a healthy amount of nudity throughout the stream, so maybe don't browse it with your kids or your cubicle boss.

It's entirely possible that this site is old news but it's new to me so I'm sharing it regardless. How Far Is It To Mars takes the Earth, scales it down to 100 pixels and then gives you a relative space journey to let you feel just how far it is to the Moon and Mars. Spoiler: it's a really long way.

I ran across this photoset on Tumblr and thought, where did these images come from? Surely this is a collection of various photographers images through the rain and not the work of one individual? One Google Image Search later and I could confirm most of them stem from one source. Many of these gorgeous, wet, images are courtesy of Christophe Jacrot's photostream. Currently, there's only five pages of images but they're all so filled with amazing painterly captures, you won't mind waiting for more.

A few years back I posted about Andrew Zuckerman's Bird Book - a very simple documentation of a number of species of birds. The sparseness of the images was the appeal. Well, take that same concept and apply it to just about any animal and you've got Creature Book. It's a collection of all kinds of creatures - from alligators to owls to tamarin to tree frogs. I'd love to see the site grow to document one of everything but that's just absurd.

When I mentioned that Hotpipes will be releasing something new every Wednesday until the release of their album Dust, I wasn't messing around! This week, they're offering up the track For Cowboy for free download. All you have to do is supply a valid email address. Easy and worth it. I promise. If you're not into downloads, you can just stream it over and over again - that'd be a perfectly acceptable and welcome action to take as well.

Recently, Andy Snyder, Ryan Kendrick and Will Holland shot a video for the Forget Cassettes song "Lady Lazarus" off of her album O Cursa.
