I was going to compile a "Best Of Halloween" video playlist for today but realized that the only thing you really need is the Pumpkin Sexydance.

When it comes to wrestling (professional, amateur or hobbyist) I am pretty much entirely disconnected. So, viewing this series of collective prints entitled the Dead Wrestler Society has less impact on me than if I were more involved. However, the art itself is undeniably compelling.

Many thanks to Kurt for the heads up on Browserstack - a tool for cross browser testing that is entirely web based and appears to be incredibly robust. It's even got developer tools built into the available browsers so you can debug. This is kind of huge if you, like me, don't really want to have multiple virtual machines installed just to see what's happening in different versions of IE.

I know I mentioned this repository of Responsive Patterns back in February but it continues to be such a compelling resource that it's definitely worth mentioning again. I love some of the newest entries like the Fluid Carousel - very clever and handy bit of design implementation.

I've long been a fan of the photographic works of Bryan Schutmaat (this summer I even learned how to properly pronounce his last name). He recently relaunched his official site and the work is, as usual, pretty staggering. There's a CNN feature on his latest collection, Grays the Mountain Sends, and his blog is pretty much always up to speed on the latest. Get familiar.

So, I mentioned this last week but I'm likely going to continue to pound it into your head that you need to watch the film Beauty Is Embarrassing. I promise I'll try not to be too aggravating with my work related endorsements but I really think these films are top notch and will be highly enjoyed by my readership (that's you).

The photostream of Prof M. Stoll consists, largely, of a lot of map images, vintage books, illustrations and surprising amount of gorgeous scans of vintage statistics... which ends up being far more compelling than you'd imagine.

You may have seen me mention Tony Castles latest release, Sharon Stone, over in the sidebar but I wanted to make sure it was called out here to your pointed attention. I know nothing of the details of the band but, lately, I've been feeling like the more I know about a band, the more likely they are to somehow ruin the enjoyment of their sound. So I'm embracing ignorance. The EP is an enjoyable listen with a nice groove and a sweetly sentimental bit of vocals.

Typically I use Poedoe looks to be an equally simple way to share sets of images with clients. The collections are professional and clean, the only thing they lack is the ability to drag to re-order... once that's in place, perfection!

So, I was all prepared to post a regular compilation of videos today featuring the likes of Drunk Jeff Goldblum, Manborg and 10 Hours of Sax Guy when I realized it might be better to post my 2012 Halloween Playlist. Yes, Halloween isn't until next Wednesday but we all know you're going to the parties this weekend and going to just gorge on bite size treats next week, so let's go ahead and get in the spirit now.

• Halloween Preview - Krispy Kreme sets things up for the spookiest season.
• The Long Road - MK12 brings you a grainy, spooky, car escape.
• I Put A Spell On You - the "Screamin'" Jay Hawkins song is pretty unbeatable on its own but add this guys elastic face and you've got perfection in Entertainment.
• Alien: Bolaj Badejo - behind the scenes of Alien, featuring the most equally hysterical and legitimately creepy bit of footage I've encountered in some time.
• Japanese Baby Ogre Kleenex Commercial - yes, you read that title correctly. No, you've never seen a commercial creepier than this. Especially one for Kleenex. I get the chills! This is so weird!!
• Steevil & Carlsbad dancing - there's a lot wrong with this clip. 1) Family Matters. 2) Marionette Masks. 3) Devil Voices. 4) Humiliation of having to perform these dances. This is nightmare fodder at its finest.
• Baby Laugh A Lot's Battery Low - the most perfect, absolutely spot-on, maniacal laugh.
• Lorn - Ghosst(s) - easily the best Halloween video to just leave on repeat for the rest of the season. It has it all.
• Krispy Kreme - Halloween - yea, I'm driving this thing into the ground but I can't get enough. It's good every time.
• The Black Belles - Lies - solid song sung by contemporary witches. What more do you require of your Halloween?
• Bird - my favorite 30 seconds of Halloween. Easy.

Way back in February I mentioned the film Beauty is Embarrassing - the documentary tale of artist Wayne White (you know his work from Pee-Wee's Playhouse, the "Tonight, Tonight" video, and many incredible paintings). I've been following their story ever since and am now elated to share that the film is available online to purchase for just $7.99, streaming immediately and DRM-free courtesy of VHX.

Director Neil Berkeley did a phenomenal job with this film and I can't wait for everyone to see it. It's insightful, inspiration and, largely, hilarious. Please, go get this film immediately.

Exhibit A Pictures is teaming up with Geekscape to create Doc of the Dead - a documentary about the uprise of Zombie Culture. Strangely, I don't consider myself a huge fan of All Things Zombie but I do think this movie looks like a very curious subject to investigate. Also, I watch The Walking Dead and love to ponder the possibility of an actual zombie uprising so why not turn that into something vaguely culturally insightful? The trailer for the film looks pretty promising and their previous work looks solid too. Long story short, they've got the chops to cover a niche subject matter and keep it interesting.

The catch? They need around $50k to actually make the film. So, of course, they've turned to Kickstarter. They're a long way from their goal but they're a long way from their end date as well.. so it's definitely possible. Why not go throw `em $20 and see if we can't get this thing made.

Well, if you were working on making a flabbergastingly perfect retro-80's videogame inspired Contact page for your company you can go ahead and stop - Dark Igloo has done it so perfectly that you'll never come close to topping it. I won't even spoil the surprises within, it's best experienced going in blind.
