• Halloween pranks in Roseanne - remember the Halloween episodes of Roseanne? Great stuff.
• I Am Become Death - Never forget this perfect terrifying mashup of Makeup and Vanity Set and our future overlords.
• Conan the Barbarian (halloween costume) - enthusiasm will get you a lot of places.
• Corgi Puppy - Pumpkin Playtime - a little break of pure cuteness. Again, enthusiasm gets you a lot of places.
• pumpkin sexydance - The original, the classic. Never forget. Watch it forever.
• Shaboi - Curse Rock - MORE Pumpkin Sexydance but now featuring Shaboi's perfectly timed "Curse Rock" courtesy of Paul.
• Boyd Bushman - His Last Interview - ok, this video is not spooky or scary in the slightest but the content is an interview with Boyd Bushman.. an ex-Lockheed Martin employee with top level security access that confirms the existence of aliens. How's that for conspiracy theory! That's spooky! And haunting!

Can I have a boilerplate for these Friday videos? Like "Another week, another dose of friendly distraction." Something catchy that really brands my Friday video contributions to your day being less productive but also more enjoyable. Just kidding, that's a terrible idea.

• Rob Cantor - "Shia LaBeouf" Live - Rob Cantor has made some amusing videos in the past but nothing that comes close to being this epic in scale and perfection.
• Shaboi - Curse Rock Pumpkin Dance - there is no limit to the number of times I can listen to Shaboi's Curse Walk album and, equally, no limit to the amount of time I can spend watching the Pumpkin Dance. Together, these things make for a truly wonderful combination. Thanks again to Paul for this.
• Wunder Wunder - Hail the Madmen - I've somehow never seen this video before and it is absolute perfect chaos. Love it.
• John Oliver: Supreme Court - if you haven't seen this greatness from Last Week Tonight featuring the best new way to display Supreme Court hearings, do yourself a favor right now.
• Ko Tama Cat - I don't know what's going on with this cat but all of these clips are mind boggling. Why does it behave this way? Was a training regime involved? Is it prone to be this awesome naturally? Both?
• Clingy pandas don’t want to take their medicine - I am sure being a Panda wrangler is not an easy job - particularly when administering medicine - but this is out of control cute. It's a Panda Pile and I approve.
• NASA Space Sounds - this isn't exactly compelling to watch but NASA recently released these sounds recorded from space - all within the human range of hearing - and they're perfect. It's exactly what you hope and imagine space sounds like. It's also amazingly soothing.

• Times Square ad for Mailchimp - love it. So simple.
• Big Mouth Masks As Seen On TV - Everything is truly terrible.
• Kitten Bun Bun's Funny Reactions to Camera - this is far from the best kitten video on the web.. nothing really happens. But, man, that kitten is cute.
• Inherent Vice Trailer - I am sure this is old news to most of you but I just watched this new Paul Thomas Anderson trailer this week and I can not wait for its release.
• Hunger Strike 8bit Version - of all the songs to get the chiptunes treatment, Temple of the Dog was very low on the list. Pretty amusing.

• Enhance Your Lighting - Tim and Eric direct Jeff Goldblum in a commercial for GE. It's perfect.
• GamersNight Oculus Rift Reaction - the build up is a little slow but this is exactly the kind of full-force immersive reaction you want people to have when trying out VR.
• The New Pornographers - Dancehall Domine - great song, phenomenal video. Can't say enough incredible things about this.
• OUVRE-MOI - I watched this in a public space and could not help but laugh aloud very audibly.
• Law Hawk - I have a feeling this guy is maybe a terrible lawyer but his abusive implementation of the Hawk sound effect won me over.
• Yellow Magic Orchestra - Firecracker (Soul Train 1980) - people recognize YMO as being a highly influential group, right? If not, get into this Soul Train performance and respect their offerings!

• ELO 2013 - If you can't see this ELO performance, do yourself a favor and watch this one from 2013. I really hope Jeff Lynne takes it upon himself to do a mini tour with this full new band.
• PRISM'S DAY OFF - This is really really weird.
• How Things Are Made - CDs - fascinatingly scientific look at how Compact Discs were made. What a crazy process.
• The Walking Dead Theme - 10 Hour Version - Endurance Challenge: how long can you listen to this? I think I made it 3, 4 minutes? I dare someone to go a full half hour.

• Ten Walls - Walking with Elephants - I'm not overly compelled by the song but the video is the perfect balance of arty, absurd and entertaining. Finally, humans can be dolphins.
• Longest 'usable' golf club - did you know the Guiness Book of World Records still exists? Did you know it takes on meaningful accomplishments like this?
• "Neverland" by The dB's - Fascinating story behind this video. It was shot back in 1982 and sat dormant until 2008 when it was finally edited and released through a series of happy circumstances. The video may not be breaking any barriers but it's a damn fine song and a band worth investigating.
• BOTHER // LES SINS - I'm calling this my new Theme Song.
• Hair Style for Safety WWII - I love old propaganda videos and this one uses the term "witchlock" in reference to hair. Into it.
• Mr. Go 3D Official Trailer - this is a Korean movie starring a believable 3D gorilla as a humans companion that is coerced into playing major league baseball. That's what I can glean from the trailer. Whatever it is, we don't have anything like it.

• Run Walter, RUN!! - This has to be exactly what it felt like to ride on the back of Falcor, right?
• Rammer Jammer Cheer - this is too weird not to include. I get the context but I like it even better approaching it completely ignorant as to what a "Rammer Jammer" is.
• Oh! it's just me! - subtle but a nice surprise for this little Scottish Fold.
• Unnecessary Explosions - I highly enjoyed this gallery of unncessary explosions and it seems there are plenty of youtube clips showing the same thing. A meme I can approve of.
• Red Panda Does Pullups - the Nashville Zoo recently welcomed a new baby Red Panda. In celebration, watch this little guy do some pull-ups.

These guys are probably a nightmare to hang with in real life but it's a solid, weird, video.
• Tammy and the T-Rex Trailer - Jurassic Park had a number of influences but this one is beyond words. Watch for al teast a full minute.
• Now THIS is a Pool Pawty! - Sorry but I can't get enough of dogs in pools. That's some serious Feel Good.
• 99 Beer Can Pack - 24 cans seems like chump change after you see this 99 can pack.

• Every Easter Egg In Guardians of the Galaxy - I really enjoyed Guardians and it's nice to hear someone really nerd out on all the small details.
• Franzie Kitty Hug Compilation - If you could train a cat to do this, everyone would do it.
• Man With a Van - Episode 3 "NYC Parking" - Man With a Van continues to be a worthwhile YouTube series and they're starting to get a little darker and serious. Curious to see where they go with this.
• Sisters Episode 1: Strawberries - recording your mom and your aunt having a conversation and then recreating it for the cameras is an instant recipe for success.
• Troy restaurant in Staten Island - I love that this just barely skirts the line between actually awful commercial and parody.
• Shiba Inu or Satan? - it's the Church Lady of dogs.

• Basement Jaxx - Never Say Never (Official Video) - twerking technology can save a relationship.
• First-person Hyperlapse Videos - kind of amazing new tech from Microsoft that shows how they're able to "smooth" out timelapse videos into a new, easier to watch, format called Hyperlapse. The examples are great! Hopefully this makes it out into the real world in some usable fashion.
• Meow Mix Song EDM Remix - you wouldn't think a popular brand of cat food would be on such a relatively hip tip but this is EDM at its finest (jokes of course).
• The Ship - a public domain music video from two of the guys that used to be in Doves. It's a great usage of this kind of footage - better than most actually - and a damn fine song.
• White Men Can't Dance - if we're being honest, I couldn't make it through this whole video but I did enjoy the pink Delorean, because how often do you see that?
• Paolo Nutini 'Iron Sky' - I posted about this recently but you really need to watch this video. At least twice.
• The Amazing Spider-Man - Music from the CBS TV Series 1978/79 - did you know the soundtrack from the 70's Spider-Man theme was funky stuff? Get into it!

• Bishop Allen - "Why I Had To Go" - a very pleasant new piece of work from Bishop Allen that just so happens to cameo VHX's own Alexandra Marvar.

• Paranormal Pugtivity - stupid but worth a watch.

• Old Man Dance Explosion - yes, it's an old man dancing wildly at a party. yes, your aunt would love it. yes, there's nothing wrong with that.
• Kids Cursing In Movies Mashup - obviously NSFW but a helluva compilation.
• Spoon - "Do You" - it's a slow churn but it's an unbelievably good video. Reminiscent of the heyday of MTV's best.
• Tammy and the T-Rex Phone Scene - this is the clip that the above GIF was taken from. Not quite as funny in context but I do love a dinosaur arm.
• Mount Sharp - "Icarus" official video - just a healthy reminder that you should be enjoying this video, telling your friends and pre-ordering the vinyl.
• Brian May - Star Fleet - FACT: anyone that was in Queen loves a floating head effect. FACT: the movie this is tied too looks awesome. FACT: the majority of this song is a guitar solo and that's completely fine by me.

• Watch This Supercut Of Every Time Harrison Ford Says 'Harrison Ford' In 'The Fugitive' - it's stupid but you know it's stupid and that makes it all the more enjoyable. That sentence also describes the rest of the content on The Onion's Clickhole.
• Shiny Ponyta after 25968 encounters!!! - did you know there's a Gameboy Pokemon game where you can encounter a very rare Pokemon named "Shiny Ponyta"? Yea, me neither. But when this guy stumbles across it after looking for a very long time he freaks out. FREAKS OUT. It's an amazing bit of joy. After the freakout you can stop watching but you really have to hear him lose his mind.
• The Animals: Fan Remake Of The Spiderman Kiss - this is nabbed off Instagram but it's a fun little remake.
• Turkish Ice Cream Man - It's called Good Clean Fun. Get into it!
• Harmonizing Guitar with Desperate Politician - apparently the man in the corner is a politician that was exposed for extorting a lot of money. He is, rightfully, very ashamed and freaking out about it. Fortunately, someone was kind enough to add a killer guitar track to it.
• Raccoons Going Crazy for Doritos - I can not begin to describe how much I love every single last second of this video. Many thanks to Jed for bringing it into my life. Total PEVZ for me.

First week back from vacation is always a bit more intense than just a regular week. So, with that in mind, watch these twice. You need your rest.

• Verschleif 4k - even with zero explanation, this is an entrancing exercise in reduction. Then when you realize it's the best usage of an edge sander in an artistic environment, well, you're sold.
• Backflipping beach guy - this seems fake. is this fake? can this be real?
• Fox go FLOOF - The title is a fair representation of the bonkers nature of the owner of this domesticated fox but I just love seeing this little guy run around!
• Pallas cat - I think I can say that this is easily my favorite video of 2014. Maybe I'll eat those words but a Pallas Cat investigating a camera with the stealth you would expect from a giant housecat is absolutely perfect. The GIF is pretty great too.
• The Best Cover to Beatles - Come Together! - this is weird and then it gets weirder and then it maintains its weirdness. Throughout the song is strange but not unenjoyable.
• Pallet Riding - not sure if this can be embedded but this guy riding a Pallet on the rails is pretty solid.
• CMT's Coffee Corner - timelapse of Rachel Briggs drawing a huge wall mural at the CMT offices. Incredibly impressive.

• Wally Jurassic Park - if the new Jurassic Park sequel can get anywhere close to this awesome, it wins. But let's be honest, almost nothing is better than this!
• KILL BILL (Vol 1 and 2) - 8 Bit Cinema - been kind of on a hardcore 8-bit nostalgia trip recently. Seeing videogames based on movies like this makes me yearn for a few days locked in a room playing an incredibly frustrating adaptation.
• Excuse me... - wait for it.
• I Dare You To Watch This Entire Video - pretty amazing College Humor piece that really takes you to task to test your every shortening attention span. I made it the full video because I'll be damned if some Internet video is gonna make a chump outta me!
• What a dance by a chubby Korean baby! - and here's a refresher for you from that grueling 3 minutes you just spent watching the above video proving that you're still in control.
• Fleetwoods Mr Blue Midnight Special - these guys are new to me and I'm enjoying their intensely melancholy tunes. Maybe not the most upbeat way to go out for a week but it's surprisingly pleasant.

• Country Dance Off - Every Friday the 13th (and only Friday the 13th) Nashville musician D. Striker emerges from the shadows and plays a show, releases a zine and generally has a great time. Watch his silly video for Country Dance Off.
• Super Mario Busters - I was rather skeptical of the effectiveness of this mashup but I'll be damned if it doesn't work quite well.
• Data Trails: Jer Thorp - absolutely beautiful animation by Erica Gorociao. The content is a little scary (tracking via data shares) but I love how it looks.
• New York Times - Modern Love - keep the theme of gorgeous animations, this NYT piece transfixes me. I could watch transitions like this for hours. And that color palette! Don't get me started.
• EVEN NOW...THE EVIL SEED OF WHAT YOU'VE DONE GERMINATES WITHIN YOU - nuff said.
• BIRDMAN - Official Teaser - kind of really looking forward to this Michael Keaton beast of a movie. Could be super good.
• Spoon - Rent I Pay - it's a simple concept but this Spoon fixed is great. Really happy they are back with a new album later this summer.
• Pug Watching Television - and now you can watch the pug watch the television. The Internet provides all.
