Remember last week when Friday videos was paltry and borderline disappointing? Well, I've overcompensated this week and doubled down with content. Regardless, I think the
playlist is solid and undeniably enjoyable.
- Big Black Delta - Side of the Road - Chad and I play this song ad nauseam, so it's nice to have an official video to go with it. I wish it exploded into some crazy color at the end but I love the glitch effects for none of that to matter.
- Drunk People are Stupid - be forewarned of the NSFW language but, man oh man, these people are absurdly entertaining.
- Iowa State Fair - Husband Calling and Mom Calling Contest - we're all forever indebted to Steve for bringing this to our collective attentions. It is, quite possibly, the best thing the Internet has offered us all in some time.
- Biting Elbows - Bad Motherf***ker - obviously some NSFW content here but it's a crazy well done first person perspective chase video. I can't imagine the cost or resources used but that's what makes it so great.
- Winny Puhh - I didn't know what this was the first time I watched it. Or the third time. Or the tenth time. The point is, I can't stop watching. Will I ever understand?!
- Trampoline Kitty - is this cat disturbed by the jumping? Is it loving it? There are few clues to understanding either way.
- Four Square checkins: NYC vs Tokyo - love this animated infographic of checkins over a 24-hour period. There aren't really any surprises in the data presented but it's still great to see.
- Harlem reacts to Harlem Shake - lots of disappointed folks here. It's a bummer that anyone would think Harlem Shake is making fun of actual Harlem because it's, frankly, not smart enough to be making any commentary. Regardless, these reactions are priceless, honest and accurate.
- Beetlejuice Minecraft Rollercoast - watch this and imagine the time it would take to 1) design the ride itself and 2) actually build it brick-by-brick in the Minecraft world. Insane.
- Introducing JASH - a new original content YouTube channel from Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and Reggie Watts. Subscribe.
- Raccoon with a Jetpack - Raccoon with a Jetpack
Have a great weekend!

Welp, I've been off at SXSW for the past week and really had no time at all for browsing or keeping up with the potential video goodness floating around out there. Despite that, I think this weeks
playlist isn't half bad.
Have a great weekend. Regular programming resumes on Monday.

You thought just because I was out of town I would forget
Friday Videos? Well, it was close to happening but better late than never, right? Enjoy!
- Mythbusters Jackass Theme - the right soundtrack and some proper editing makes Mythbusters look an awful lot like Jackass.
- Life on Mars - just a phenomenal retro-future style animation for your eyes to enjoy.
- Backflip Madness - new iOS game that we are obsessed with. It's weird and awkward but it's oddly entertaining.
- Breaking Bad 1995 Style - there's been a lot of these sorts of remakes but this one hits the nail on the head.
- Beach House - "Wishes" - new Eric Wareheim video for Beach House with Ray Wise being particularly awesome.
- Cats Can Be Jerks - enjoyable compilation of jerky cats.
- Dormtainment - Ass on the Internet - from time to time my playlist will include a risque video or two. This is one of those times. This is NSFW, tho just for being inappropriate. That being said, its pretty awesome both in content and execution.
Have a great weekend!

Before you do
anything else - look at
this. A
fight broke out at a North Carolina fashion show and things escalated to
table throwing. It's unfortunate that it got this bad but this woman's ability to throw furniture
and catch hurling objects perfectly is spellbinding.
Okay, on to the
playlist.
Have a great weekend!

This weeks
playlist may be a little heavy on the animal videos but, ya know what, deal with it! They are delightful, I promise.
That's it! Have a great weekend.

It's another week,
another playlist. Some you have, undoubtedly, seen already but I think you'll still get some enjoyment regardless.
Have a great weekend everyone. Maybe I'll see you
out and
about.

Welcome to February! Where does the time go? Seriously. Where does it go? Enjoy
this playlist and have yourself a phenomenal weekend.
- First attempt at a Ski Jump - I recently confirmed with myself that I should never, ever, ski. This video is just further evidence that are plenty of other folks like myself out there.
- Lynn Hischberg's Screen Test: Lena Dunham - if you've been watching GIRLS you know how accurate of a parody this is.
- Samsung El Plato Supreme - you know it's Superbowl Weekend when you see a commercial with Bob Odenkirk, Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd. Oh, and it's actually pretty funny.
- Flood Surprise - never underestimate the stupidity of people.
- Black Mirror: Series 2 - I've talked about this show a few times before. Charlie Brooker's grim look at technology and society is a great watch.. glad to see it's returning for a second run.
- Oh hey, I didn't see you there - a Kickstarter Supercut of recurring greetings. Some of the variations are amazing.
- Cat Meets Snow - because every week should have a fun animal video.
- Jeff's Morning Workout - because every week should have a phenomenal dance video.
BONUS
Take care!

This weeks
playlist is largely stolen from my friend
Paul. No, he didn't supply all the videos but I definitely snagged a great deal of it from him. Regardless, enjoy.

I'm posting
these videos from the past so that in the future you can enjoy them in the present. Follow that? It doesn't matter. This playlist is weird but
I think there's something good in there for you to enjoy. If I missed something crucial, I bet it's viewable
here.
- NFL Bad Lip Reading - glad to see them branching out into mocking more forms of television. Approved.
- KLOL 101 - a lot of videos these days ape the 70's / 80's video aesthetic, I'd love to see this sort of graphic collaging become more commonplace. Get on it, Internet.
- My Heart Will Go On - nothing like a recorder solo to brighten up your day. It's an endurance challenge for the ages. via Paige.
- Big Time Pranks with Dan Klein - check out this hilarious prank call to Bumble Bee Foods. Super funny.
- True Facts About Morgan Freeman - not entirely hysterical but when it hits, it's real good.
Okay, hopefully you found something good in there. Bear with me, I'm in the past! This stuff was all funny and relevant when I cobbled it together.. don't blame me that time has soiled it.
Have a good weekend.

I'm off to Salt Lake City for the next few days to partake in my first
Sundance. The
crew and I will be taking in some movies, enjoying the city and, hopefully, meeting some filmmakers interested in getting their films directly into the hands of fans. I'll do my best to keep up with tweets and whatnot for the sidebar but, ideally, I'll be too busy! I've got some posts queued up for tomorrow and, of course, Friday Videos will be around.
For today, go give the new
Roy Ira a listen (it's on
Spotify if you prefer that) and then read the latest issue of
NATV.

I received guff from a myriad of people last week for not posting Friday Videos! I'm sorry, I was still on vacation! Hopefully
this playlist makes up for it. It has all the classic elements needed for a good playlist - animal videos, weird video edits, unsettling dancing, trombone and children going nuts. Enjoy.
- Dubstep Bird - I want a supercut of the Internet's best 5-second-and-under viral videos. I'd put this on the playlist as well.
- Cat Share - you'd think there's a simple solution here involving two saucers but then we wouldn't get this great video. Russian Internet continues to dominate. 2013 is their year.
- Qualcomm CES 2013 Keynote - touted as "The Most Insane Keynote Ever." It's actually hard to disagree once you see everything they threw into the presentation. The best part? I don't even know what product they're trying to convince me of.
- Hard of Hearing Vader - have you seen this already this week? Probably. Are Star Wars parody videos tough to swallow? Yes. Is this one an exception to that rule? I believe so.
- GoPro Trombone - yes. A million times. Yes.
- Anamanaguchi - [Meow] - If there is a more perfect chiptunes music video I am not aware of its existence. This has it all.
- Xylophone Madness - wait for it. Waaaait for it. via Mixel.
- Popped a Molly I'm Sweating: Dance Party for One - this is one of those videos that's best to know as little about as humanly possible. via Paul.
Plenty more goodness in the
Syndicate Feed if you need it.
Have a great weekend!

I had big plans to make an Apocalypse Edition of Friday Videos but then it occurred to me that 99% of conspiracy videos are
real boring. So, in lieu of that, I've put together this
Christmas playlist. There's some bonus links below and, as always, the running
syndicate feed to keep you occupied.
- Christmas Sweatz - just when you think the song has overstayed its welcome, they switch it up. Rhett and Link keep delivering the goods.
- Cat Scared of Mario Jump - you may think this isn't Christmas related but watch this video with your family and I bet good money you'll all be closer as a unit for the unified enjoyment.
- A Charlie Brown Christmas Reunion: Louis CK style - this is actually too accurate of a parody.
- Santa's Slay Trailer - did you know that Bill Goldberg starred as Satan's only son, Santa in Santa's Slay? So bad it's good.
- Jingle Cats - Let It Snow - I will warn you right now, this is a rabbit hole of videos that you don't want to get caught in but probably won't be able to resist.
- Giggle with Goats Holiday Performance - I was really hoping this was going to be Jingle Bells as sung by goats but it turns out it's just a bunch of footage of kid's being jovial. So delightful.
- Arnold's Very Special XMAS Party - this is incredibly difficult to watch but what would you expect from an Everything Is Terrible editing Arnold Christmas Special? Regardless, lots of star power involved. What's going on Randy Travis?!
- Wonderful Christmas Time - Yes, this song is hilariously polarizing but this particular video version is off the charts ridiculous.
BONUS
Have a great one. Posting will be sparse between now and 2013 but I'll try to drop some treats on ya!

What a week! Being up in the NYC VHX office for the past five days has been a phenomenal time. Many things were accomplished that will, hopefully, be revealed soon. Enjoy this
playlist.
Have a great weekend! I'm trying to put together my Best Of compilations before the holiday breaks set in but I've also got two special projects launching right at the end of 2012 that I must finish ASAP. I know you will love them both.

This was a
crazy week but, somehow, there's no shortage of insane
videos to enjoy.
BONUS VIDEOS
Need more? Enjoy this stuff.
- DMX - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - it's not quite as good as this but it's entertaining.
- The Longest Word in English - 3 hours and 33 minutes of pronouncing the longest word. The most insane part is that the narrator grows a noticeable 5 o'clock shadow during the duration.
- Sporty Kyle - I love the works of Kyle in all his many forms but this character tests my patience more than most. It's entertaining but it's tough!
- Daft Punk - Electroma - in case you have an hour to spare, now you can catch the entire Daft Punk movie on youtube.
Have a great weekend!

You know, I didn't have much time this week to browse around and enjoy the bevy of Internet videos making the rounds but this
playlist is still strong. It's weird but it's solid. Enjoy.
- Weber Cooks - Chili & Cheese Nacho Dip - no surprises here, just a solid Chili & Cheese recipe.
- Baguette Magic - yes, this is a weird
Japanese Taiwan magician. Yes, at 4:30 he produces the worlds largest baguette out of some dough and thin air. MAGIC.
- Drew Peterson: Untouchable - probably shouldn't laugh at a Lifetime movie based on someone's legitimate strife but this is unbearably ridiculous.
- Wolfman's Gallery Furniture - excellent use of green screen technology and a helluva beard. I strive for this look at some point in my life. Thanks Paul.
- Cat Dreams - this seems like the cat is having a medical fit but, turns out, it's just a really good dreamer.
- Cat Special Forces - Yes this is just another cat video compilation but it has larger implications. Mostly it backs up my theory that videos from Russia are overtaking the web as the most ridiculous. Pay attention, it's a slow creep but it's totally been happening.
- Boston Bun - Housecall - I know the VHS aesthetic is getting overplayed a lot lately but this is one of the more perfect executions. It's exactly the amount of strange that you hope to find on an actual cassette.
Need more? Listen to
this crazy lady or
watch these videos.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving! I assume my US readers are off doing family things and gorging themselves on loads of food. I plan on doing just exactly that myself. Enjoy
the playlist and go have another listen to that
Nahnee Bori record.
- The Perfect Guide to Holiday Etiquette - a Buzzfeed video is legitimately funny? Yep, it's true. It just gets weirder and weirder as it goes. Delightful.
- Panda Baby Surprise - it may be cruel to spook such an adorable beast but the reaction is worth it.
- Rob Ford plays football - total honesty policy, I don't know who Rob Ford is and I play football exactly as well as this.
- Keep Austin Weird - Well played TV reporter. Well played drunk passerby. via flux-rad.
- 7th Heaven Marijuana Parody - music can make or break an edit. This is so amazingly perfect.
- Gotham High - this is kinda long and pretty weird but the further you watch it, the more clever you deem it and the more work you realize went into it. It's a hearty chuckle for sure.
- Bill & Ted Air Guitar Supercut - Maybe you need a break from family and these two can provide the levity? Maybe you need an endurance challenge of some sort? Maybe you need a nostalgic onslaught? This works however you'd like.
If you need more, you
know where to go. Have a great weekend.
