Another week, another
playlist. I think it's quite an entertaining one if I do say so myself. Oh, I should also mention that VHX has been posting
weekly roundups as well, there's a bit of overlap sometimes but sometimes not - so be sure to keep those in your rotation as well. I digress, here we go...
- Kit-Kat Pops from Pizza Hut - this is not a joke. This is a Kit-Kat wrapped inside a sugary breadstick. I'm speechless. Curious to eat one and also speechless.
- Worst Movie Death Scene Ever - this is taken from a 1973 Turkish movie called "Kareteci Kiz" and I think it's far from the worst death. I'd say it's one of the greatest things I've seen in some time.
- World's Grumpiest Cat - there are many unfortunate aspects to "Tard" the World's Grumpiest Cat. First, the name - though supposedly short for Tartar Sauce it just seems wildly inappropriate when you consider Point #2, this cats condition is brought on by inbreeding and genetic defects. Fortunately, its new owners are giving it a great life despite it being adorably grumpy. Watch all the videos. It really is one helluva cute cat. via LT.
- There are Two Kinds of People - turns out, there are actually more than two kinds of people. Great compilation, regardless.
- Never Buy A Used Condom - god bless Peter Serafinowicz and his Public Service Announcements. via Mikesell.
- Gifs with Sound - I blogged about the site but who wants to browse the web when you can just watch a video? Perfect results.
- Always Sunny Season 8 - Haley Joel Osment as Mac is perfect. Actually, this whole promo is perfect.
- Roye'L - "In My World" - Public Access TV always generates some incredible performances (and outfits). I legitimately love the Dance Solo. via Paul.
Have a great weekend!

Should I save this
How Time Travel Works supercut collage for Friday Videos? Maybe so but here it is regardless. Check
this article after viewing to see which films were involved. Did you know them all already? If not, maybe it's time to flesh out your list of Movies Involving Time Travel a bit more?

Has anyone else been feeling sluggish this week? Maybe it was my 16+ hours in airports/airplanes that are holding me back or maybe it's the changing seasons but I feel out of sorts! Hopefully this
great playlist will alleviate all my woes. Enjoy.
- Miami Connection trailer - I honestly can't tell when a Drafthouse Film is a parody, a tribute or an actual re-release. That's a good thing.
- Mr Wizard's (Still) A Dick - another quality compilation of Mr. Wizard being verbally abusive.
- Mail Time: Steve Gets a "LETTER" - this is NSFW and probably out of character for Friday Videos but I love the reaction shots too much not to include this. via Paul.
- Presenting Mudd - here's a palette cleanser after that last one. The enthusiasm here is unbridled and infectious.
- OpDocs: Romney vs Obama - while there are plenty of differences between the two Presidential candidates it's sometimes nice to remember the similarities. Nice video from Gregory Brothers.
- I Miss Drugs: "Simple Human" - you really need to watch this entire series - it's equal parts hilarious and macabre. The looming sadness is never directly noted but it's there, it's definitely there. via Steve.
- Beautiful Wait - not really a kooky or wacky video but more of a beautiful series of animated vignettes having to do with patience and waiting. via Erica.
- "Fine" Art with Alexander Barrett - probably NSFW as well and totally low-brow but, for whatever reason, I just laughed and laughed. Sometimes it's good to end on a politely crass one.
If you find yourself still needing more, just watch
this, over and over and over again.

Woah,
almost didn't have a chance to post up the Friday videos because of this great
Conference I'm attending. Regularly scheduled posting will resume on Tuesday - just keep an eye on the
Syndicate Feed for new goods if you're hankering for links. In the meantime,
enjoy the playlist! Thanks to
Daniel for some quality contributions.
- Worst Family Feud Answers - lets go ahead and get this out of the gate right away. It is superb in so many ways. Game show bloopers are the best kind of bloopers.
- Collective Soul Cat - if this were the tiniest bit shorter it would easily be the World's Greatest Cat Video Mashed Up with a Semi-Terrible mid-90's Rock Song. I think it goes without saying how much I love this.
- Mitt Romney Little Face - I don't care that this is Mitt Romney, I just love the little face. Perfect.
- Billy Lavoie - the first half of this video is all you really need to see. I feel kind of bad for this guy now that this is out in the world but he was one helluva sassy kid.
- GoPro Stolen By Seagull - how did they retrieve this camera?? I want animals to steal more technology, pls.
- Screaming Sheep - waaaaaait for it.
- Jon Contino - this video is just a phenomenally inspiring bit of profiling on the great Jon Contino. His enthusiasm and drive is inspiring, his work is out of this world.
Have a great weekend. If anyone can confirm that
this animal is not in an unpleasant state of being I will declare it the finest thing ever captured on film.

Take some time with this weeks
offerings, I think you'll find quite a bit of enjoyment if you let them sit with you for a bit.
- Comic vs Heckler - it's a short clip and they both get in a quality quip.
- The PSYning - I really hope that this sort of mash-up continues to gain ground.
- Fountain Crash Dubstep - you know it's a slow news day when this kind of footage makes it on air but thank god it did because the dubstep mash up is ridiculously dumb and perfectly hilarious.
- Crippled Rejex - Hello Disappear - before you quickly switch this off because it's a "terrible song" keep in mind that it's a parody and perfectly executed by the man that brought you Reptiles.
- Crippled Rejex Exposed - part two of Crippled Rejex. It's astoundingly accurate. If this doesn't do anything for ya, you can watch this instead.
- News Bloopers - there's a lot of goodness in here. Guess which clip is my favorite?
- 4 Year Old Moving like Bernie - this is the greatest dance craze since ever and I'm glad it's catching on with the kids.
Bonus
- FAIL Compilation August 2012. Yes it yep, these still fill me with dread and unease but I always watch them.
- 49 Synchronized Quadrocopters - two things. 1) If you can successfully work in "synchronized quadropcopters" into conversation, you win life. 2) This is a beautifully weird arrangement of a thing you'd probably never see if the Internet didn't exist.
- Nickelback - Trying Not To Love You - I saw this music video featuring Jason Alexander last week and thought it was a parody. Turns out, it is not. This is a sincere music video. Yes, it's self-aware but not to the full extent of it's own awfulness. What is happening here? How does this exist? So many questions, so few answers.
Have a great weekend everyone!

We're coming up on a long weekend, so go ahead and just stop working now to enjoy the
playlist.
BONUS
Why these aren't included in the playlist is a good question but I have my reasons. You should still enjoy.
Have a great long weekend!

Another week, another
playlist, another wish that you would quit working as early as possible this Friday.
BONUS
- Tiny Tiny Bicycle - this is probably all over your Facebook wall already but you still have to see it.
- Breaking Bad Spin-Off Series - again, if you're not watching Breaking Bad, avoid this as it contains spoilers (sorta)... also, it won't be funny unless you watch the show.
Have a great weekend!

Another week, another
playlist of ridiculous videos to distract you. I'm not where where I stand on this weeks playlist - it's a weird one but I find it highly entertaining.
- Horse Taking it to The Limit - I'm sure there's some simply explanation for this like a modded video game that I'm unfamiliar with but I prefer to embrace ignorance. Too weird not to.
- Every Day I'm Whistling - can someone insert this for the ultimate combo?
- Kot Stabilizator - another potential mashup waiting to happen with this video.
- Kid Static - K.I.D. - new music video from Whiskerino alumni Kid Static. It takes place at Comic Con - of course I'm going to post it.
- Music Video for Emily - this is the kind of thing that makes you feel immediately embarrassed for the kid. Everyone gets their 15 minutes, right? Wait for the guitar solo.
- Invisible Bicycle Helmet - this isn't funny or wacky, it's fascinating. Two design students redesign and, potentially, revolutionize the bicycle helmet. The reveal at the end is worth the build. Do not fast forward.
- Ragu: Long Day of Childhood - I don't have TV anymore, so this commercial is new to me. Additionally, it's hilarious. Love that song. See Also: Spaghetti Braids.
- Cat in the Class - Ceiling Cat knows how to make an entrance.
- Shaun Sperling Bar Mitzvah Dance - this is like the inverse of "Song for Emily" because this kid obviously feels zero embarrassment and owns the event completely. Good to end the playlist on some ridiculous dancing; been too long.
BONUS
Have a phenomenal weekend. You owe yourself that.

I should probably be saving this for Friday entertainment but
Awkward Stock Video is too ridiculous not to share right away. The tumblog is a simple repository of, you guessed it, awkward stock videos. They range from the
baffling to the
truly creepy to
best thing ever. Hopefully new stuff is continually added but even if it stops at the limited amount that's up there now, I'd be fully amused.
Brought to you by
Casey and

I'm in continuous celebration of my new
employment at VHX. Hopefully you can take off work early today, grab a treat and join me. It's the weekend! This week's
playlist might be a little heavy on the animal videos. So, if you're one of those weirdos that doesn't get enjoyment out of animals being silly, don't fret.. there's plenty of non-animal absurdity in here too.
- Baby Wombat - it's the cover gif but in video form. Aka Perfect Cuteness.
- Cat Shopping - sometimes you just need to loop a video a few times to make it totally perfect.
- Natural Thing - animals like to chase laser lights. This video proves it.
- PSY - Gangham Style - I was going to suggest you mute the music and just enjoy the ridiculousness of this video but then you'd miss out on this Korean rapper saying what sounds like "Condom Star" over and over. Every shot in this video could be its own perfectly amusing animated gif.
- Excited Train Guy - I love the unbridled, legitimate, enthusiasm this guy has for this train. Unreal.
- Slim Chance Surplus Sales - intentionally awkward local commercial done with a Hee-Haw sense of humor. Approved.
- Green Linez - Hibiscus Pacific - I saw this last week and was tempted to share. I didn't and I regret it. This bizarre video has haunted me for a week. So weird, in the best way.
- Stewart Lee - Rap Singers - endurance challenge. How far do you make it into this hour clip?
- Moonwalking Nyan Cat - rarely do I see such greatness.

Have a great weekend!

It's no secret that I've been
smitten with
VHX for a
long time. Friday Videos have been
VHX Powered since last September, I browse the social side of the site every day, and I even helped them launch the
Aziz Ansari site.
So, with all that in mind, I'm overjoyed to announce that I'm now
officially employed alongside
Casey,
Jamie,
Chad and
Steve in the further development of all things VHX. There's a whole lot up our sleeves and I'm excited to work on every aspect of it (and to share the fruits with you).

It's that time again!
Friday Videos! I dunno what it is about this week's selections but I'm rather proud of the them. The Internet really delivered in the Weird + Funny department the last seven days. Let's all give ourselves a collective pat on the back.
- Pinkle Tank - Get Tankled Promo - I don't know what a Pinkle Tank is and I don't know what "Getting Tankled" is but they both sound highly inappropriate for a kids band. Either way, they've been added to my vocabulary for everyday usage. Thanks Paul.
- Skull Trumpet Remix - almost as good as the original and that's saying a lot.
- Canine Fireman's Carry - in Russia, dog carries cat!
- Ralphisms - granted, this compilation of Ralph Wiggum phrases isn't new to the Interweb (posted back in 2010) but it's one of those videos you should never tire of watching. There's a dog in the vent!
- ORCumentary - BLOOD - If someone told me to head to the nearest Hot Topic to see a one-man keyboard sludgecore band perform I wouldn't expect something this great.
- Mitt Romney, A Hero In My Mind - Mitt Romney needs original music for the campaign trail, this is one man's contribution. It doesn't get super awesome until he starts singing. Something about it feels familiar.
- Adventure Time Tribute - I've never seen a single episode of Adventure Time but I love this style and overall vibe so much I'm sharing it anyway.
- Bees in the Mosh Pit - I don't want any explanation why this exists. Just enjoy.
If you still need some more funny, watch
Celebrities Read Tweets About Themselves,
Zach Galifianakis host Late Night or the
July 2012 FAIL Compilation.

Finally, it's the weekend! Enjoy
this playlist and think about sneaking out of work early.
- Jump Fail (Recorder Version) - It's official, this is the greatest soundtrack to anything but especially people falling over. Thank you Paul.
- Michael Bolton and Kenny G Shred - I never tire of these "Shreds" videos. Always amusing. Thank you Keith.
- Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Trailer - the first episode of this is now available to watch online. It's just Jerry Seinfeld and another comedian having a chat - not a groundbreaking format but a tried and true one. It's great.
- Sullivan and Marks Graphics Demo Reel - 1978 - I love looking at these vintage bumpers and marveling at the fact that they were done without After Effects or Final Cut or, really, any computer assistance whatsoever.
- Parking Woman Celebrated By Drunk Fans - I can imagine this being the worst experience in the world if you were the driver but, as a bystander, it's kinda funny. Especially the whistle.
- Men Throwing Rocks With The Other Hand - try this out over the weekend. I guarantee you look just as ridiculous.
- 8-Bit "Deal With It" Cat - I really wish this didn't have the dumb bumper at the start and end (so it was more Nyan-esque) but the animation is quite amusing. If you like psychedelic 8-bit cat animations, that is.
- Mr Wizard Is A Dick - I did not watch Mr. Wizard as a kid but it really seems like he did not care for children or for having a television show.
- The Evolution of PC Games - music and video comprised entirely of elements from old games. In my opinion, the older the game, the better. By 1:30 you've left the Golden Era but it's still entertaining.
- Michael - I don't want to know anything else about this except that it exists and that I can watch it a hundred times today.
Have a great weekend!!

Because I'm
off to New Orleans this weekend I'm actually posting this collection of videos from the past for your enjoyment in the future, which you are currently experiencing as the present. So, if you're wondering why I missed
some video, let's just assume I was off traveling. Ok? Great.
Enjoy the Playlist!
- Krispy Kreme - Coolest Guys - they're back! Matt and I were discussing the legitimacy of these guys. Is this a perfect prank being pulled over on us all? Is this legit? What's the story here? If it's real, it's phenomenal. If it's a fake, I'm gonna be real bummed.
- Temptations TV - sometimes it's hard to get behind the coal fire that is the advertising industry but then you see stuff like this and realize it's not all bad.
- Play This! - there's some vulgarity involved here but it's all part of the joke.. I mean, for something so innocent the author seems _really_ mad. I love it.
- How to catch a Kangaroo - You know what's coming but it's still super amusing. via Paul.
- Jimmy Fallon: Dark Knight Rises with Pee-wee Herman Voices - well played Jimmy Fallon. Well played.
- It Ain't Easy Being a Reporter - I know I've seen each of these clips on their own as they made their individual internet rounds but I am beyond pleased to see them all together in this perfect compilation.
Need more? Go see
Paul,
Chad,
Erica or
Danny.

It's been a short week (assuming you celebrated Independence Day) but that's no reason not to cut out early from work and continue to treat yourself. Right? Enjoy the
playlist while you contemplate the notion.
- Bill Clinton Plays M83 - I've probably watched this about 50 times this week already. It never gets old. Ever.
- Cat Conflict - I should not enjoy this as much as I do but the cartoonish movement gets me every single time.
- A Conversation with my 12 Year Old Self - in 1992, Jeremiah McDonald recorded a conversation with his future self . Now, in 2012, he responds. Conceptually this is great but I wanted more ridiculous footage of his younger self. Maybe there will be more of these in the forthcoming years.
- MTV Night Videos 2012 - so many amazing MTV bumpers from Kungen & Hertigen. Love it.
- Hot Weather in Richmond - what a kooky weatherman!
- Fireworks Fail Compilation - yes, San Diego won July 4th but it's always good to have a reminder that playing with fireworks can lead to looking like an idiot (And possible severe facial burns). Stay careful.
Have a great weekend!

Some of the gems in this weeks
playlist take a little bit to fully flourish in your palette. So, be patient, you'll get there.
- Goal Celebrations FX - I was dying laughing watching this; every single time.
- Walking in Slow Motion - I don't know the back story here and don't want to. I choose to believe Bill Murray just went ahead with these guys silly little idea and it turned out great.
- Bill's Rules - speaking of Bill Murray. Did you know that 1982 Era Murray can compare directly (1:1 ratio) with Dr. Steve Brule. Sure, the accents are different but the intentions are the same.
- Kreayshawn - Breakfast (Syrup) - I honestly can not tell if this is an honest musical undertaking or a parody video. Viral video for Miss Butterworth's? Jokes on us? Please?
- Cat Walking Down Fridge - because a quality Friday Video playlist features a cat doing something crazy.
- Krispy Kreme - Best Friends - here's the thing. I've seen other videos from this teenage rap duo but it never really hit home how endearing it was until "Best Friends" dropped. I get it now. It rides that fine line between "Should I laugh at this?" and "I legitimately love this for its earnestness." It's engaging in the strangest way. Watch the whole thing because the callout at the end is amazing.
- The Dark Knight a la Hitchcock - what happens when you take the first five minutes of The Dark Knight and put the opening score from Hitchcocks Vertigo over top? Turns out you get a surprisingly excellent mashup of audio and video. Can we start the rumor that this was done intentionally? It would fit well with plenty of other theories.
That's it! As always, if you're craving more - just hit up
Paul's VHX, it is an ongoing smorgasbord of absurd, ridiculous and entertaining videos. Have a great weekend!
