A few notes:
· The Grim Reaper video is really only funny due to it's production values and the baby that goes spinning around - I'm not laughing at the subject matter.
· You can read more about the Liquid Smoke
here - I hope this becomes a trend because the effect is incredible. Via
Chad.

This video would have been a serious contender this week if it wasn't a weird ad for a Madlib album. But if you love Bollywood, watch it anyway.

Not a ton for this week but enough to keep you entertained. Have a great weekend.

Enjoy your weekend - I plan on starting (and finishing) the Summer Mix Series. So get your game in order for submissions early next week!

A few notes for viewing:
Stick with the
Daft Hands video - it gets better as the song speeds up.
Cheetah Encounter had me on the verge of tears.

The video from
The Matches may not contain a song that you're totally into but you gotta enjoy the overall concept / execution of the actual video. Apparently it's a vague homage to the ole
Bob Dylan classic. Top notch in my book.
That Johnny Depp video is not something I would expect anyone to actually watch in its entirety but if you scrub to about 6 or 7 minutes in you can see the insanity of the children (talented but insane).
If anyone can find an embeddable version of
this video - please send it. It's incredibly perfect.

I really wanted to add
Funtown Auto to the list of videos today but 1) I couldn't find a good embeddable version and 2) it's so weird, vulgar and ridiculous that I didn't know how people would react. It's sort of like Tim & Eric style editing but infused with a serious dose of really bad crank.

The clip of Michael Cera getting fired from the set of "Knocked Up" is much like the whole "I ♥ Huckabees" director / actor fiasco but faux anger is pretty much always entertaining.. so enjoy it (with headphones).

I'm off to Memphis for the weekend so here are your Friday videos a day early... and here are a few little insights about each.
- Ouch - self-explanatory.
- Fujiya & Miyagi - "Ankle Injuries" - reminescent of the White Stripes "lego video" but more detailed.
- Albi The Racist Dragon - this is a quick song from
Flight of the Concords - a New Zealand duo along the lines of Tenacious D but less vulgar. They have a new HBO
show premiering in June and it could be pretty funny. It should also be noted that
Chris Mikesell sent me a link to these guys well over a year ago - thus confirming his place as King of the Internet.
- High Officer - apparently a police officer took home some marijuana from a drug bust, baked it into some brownies, and
messed up. Hilarious.

Okay, so the
Encyclopedia of Life video isn't my usual faire of ridiculous Friday video nonsense but I found it way too fascinating not to post. The whole concept behind it is incredible and the
sample pages look sweet.
The "Empty Room" and "Art of Wooing" clips are from a BBC show entitled
Snuff Box and, as far as I can tell, it can do no wrong. See more on
youtube.
The Shitdisco song is mediocre but the video is great..

I realize that the "Worst CGI Ever" is, in fact,
not the worst ever but man if it isn't terrible.
Family Guy doesn't do much for me these days but that clip is pretty undeniable.

I really wanted to post some of these videos from
The Human Giant but didn't find an option to embed.. so you'll just have to watch them the old fashioned way, by going to their
site.

I really wanted to embed
this video but just couldn't bring myself to do it... just too weird. Oh, and that Patches The Horse video is good for about 30 seconds. Once you get the premise, you can move on.
