Yes,
The Calamari Wrestler is already in my Netflix Queue. It should be in yours too.
The
Peter Sarstedt song is featured in that new Wes Anderson short
Hotel Chavalier and seemed appropriate to post given that's what most people will be watching this weekend while they wait for the full-length movie to be released in their market.

I really wanted to link this
cats video but I assumed that'd be too much of a copout.. Man, I love cat videos.
Have a great weekend.

1 Tokyo Time Lapse is 35 years of construction in 10 seconds.
2 This clip is taken from "The Adventures of Mark Twain" - back when California Raisins style claymation was all the rage. It is quite bizarre.
3 - Watch all of the
Pete and Brian sketches - great stuff.
4 There are actually a ton of these fan-made "automated" levels on YouTube - think of it as the new LineRider.
5 If you haven't seen this one yet, you aren't browsing enough.
6 I think the likelihood of me going to hell just increased by 400%. Worth it.

If you think you're ready for it, please partake in the videos from
Doctor Legua.. every single one is absolutely bizarre and filled with grotesque character modeling. I mean, look at that Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse! Why are they so muscular? Look at this
Donald Duck! He has human toes and a nightmare inducing bill!
Scraper Bikes is a classic that I can't believe I never posted before now.
Have a great weekend.

The two Van Halen related videos are absolutely ridiculous. One for its subtlety and just how appropriate it seems, the other for how insanely absurd and real it is.
The "Monsters of Megaphone" is a Mr. Show classic to me, making me realize it's been far too long since I've watched a full episode.

Happy birthday
Chad - thanks for the video NMKY video and you can blame
Ryan for that insanely pointless "Contact Juggling" video.

No real Internet all-stars this week but enough to keep you entertained for a moment. Enjoy!

In all honesty I just wanted to post that completely inappropriate
Pretty Ricky video as large as I could and leave it for days. I can't wrap my head around why someone would make that - joke or not. It's really the best video I've seen online in some time because it begs so many questions (but it is NSFW / NWS / etc - so keep the boss away).

A few notes:
· The Grim Reaper video is really only funny due to it's production values and the baby that goes spinning around - I'm not laughing at the subject matter.
· You can read more about the Liquid Smoke
here - I hope this becomes a trend because the effect is incredible. Via
Chad.
·
This video would have been a serious contender this week if it wasn't a weird ad for a Madlib album. But if you love Bollywood, watch it anyway.

A few notes for viewing:
Stick with the
Daft Hands video - it gets better as the song speeds up.
Cheetah Encounter had me on the verge of tears.

The video from
The Matches may not contain a song that you're totally into but you gotta enjoy the overall concept / execution of the actual video. Apparently it's a vague homage to the ole
Bob Dylan classic. Top notch in my book.
That Johnny Depp video is not something I would expect anyone to actually watch in its entirety but if you scrub to about 6 or 7 minutes in you can see the insanity of the children (talented but insane).
If anyone can find an embeddable version of
this video - please send it. It's incredibly perfect.

I really wanted to add
Funtown Auto to the list of videos today but 1) I couldn't find a good embeddable version and 2) it's so weird, vulgar and ridiculous that I didn't know how people would react. It's sort of like Tim & Eric style editing but infused with a serious dose of really bad crank.

The clip of Michael Cera getting fired from the set of "Knocked Up" is much like the whole "I ♥ Huckabees" director / actor fiasco but faux anger is pretty much always entertaining.. so enjoy it (with headphones).
