Nice music industry rant from Steve Albini entitled "The Problem With Music." That basically goes through the whole process of how screwed a band becomes by signing to a major - pretty interesting, though not really surprising news. DIY attitude is the way to go. Autolux recently revealed they are going to sign to a label, and I can only hope that they don't get this screwed, I'd hate to see such an amazing band get screwed. Link via david bean.
