After some aggravated frustration with Photoshop picking up on my mouse movements as "gestures" that I never intended I decided to take action - I googled a solution. Turns out I'm not the only person that doesn't want to activate the "Rotate View Tool" accidentally. Adobe has a Disable Trackpad Gestures Plugin that has already made my experience working exclusively on the laptop (no external mouse) much more serene.
