It takes a moment of adjustment to comprehend the implementation of the `footnotes` but this
annotation experiment from
Grant Custer is rather clean and clever. It's nice not to have to jump around on the page and keep your eye trained at the top of the browser. Is it perfect? Nah but it's a great stab at a pretty common problem.
