Apparently Angry Birds is stopping at being one of the most popular apps for mobile devices, now they want your desktop too. You can grab the Chrome app version of the game and play right there in your browser. It's still beta and, frankly, not as enjoyable of an experience using a mouse but it's impressive that it's being done without the use of Flash.

On a somewhat unrelated note, what's up with Chrome store links being the most un-memorable thing in the world? Why is there a nonsensical hash associated with every entry? You'd think since it's brought to you by Google that they'd strive to have a decent url.
