Apparently this could be a first - both Alfondo Cuaron's
Gravity and the short film spin-off directed by his son Jonas Cuaron,
Aningaaq look likely to be
nominated for Academy Awards. You can
watch the short, which augments a portion of
Gravity in a tasteful way. I won't give anything away but it's a pretty piece of work to show a different portion of the feature film's story.
