This weekend I had the fortunate opportunity to watch Attack The Block - a new film from Joe Cornish featuring a bunch of rag tag teen gang members protecting their block from an incoming alien attack. It is that perfect balance of humor, action, quick scares and great CGI (seriously, the aliens look amazing). I'm sure there are those out there that could find some fault with it but, from my perspective, there's no room for complaints - it's just great from the word Go.

The film has been picked up by Screen Gems in the US and should be hitting a small run of theatres across the nation now. For those of you across the pond, it should already be on DVD.
