The Attenborough Design Group is more of an art undertaking than anything else. The artists behind the organization (James Chambers and Tom Judd) are using queues from nature / animal behavior to create works of contemporary technology that respond to their environment. This article has a run down of three of their creations - a sneezing radio (to fight off dust), an automated floppy drive (to flee from liquids) and an antitouch lamp (to prevent halogen bulb exposure).

Obviously if these were dead serious products being product to market it would be absurd but as art projects they are pretty entertaining. Be sure to watch the video for the Floppy Legs Disk Drive. So good.
