Bridget Riley

Had the pleasure of seeing the latest Bridget Riley installation over at the David Zwirner gallery this weekend and it led me down a deep rabbit hole of discovery. Diving into her Tate collection or Artsy Profile you can see decades of work that seems alarmingly simple but incredibly engaging with just the simplest variation on the implementation. Black and White lines warping in space or color bars stacked in diagonal doesn't sound like much to describe out loud but she manages to make it quite compelling to look at.

Give yourself some time to really dive in to each of those aforementioned profiles, you'll appreciate yourself for it later.
