Not being a sports watcher I\'ve no idea if these have been implemented or if they\'re just proof of concept but Cina Associates along with Michael Young put together a display package for highly legibile, flat on-screen graphics for football games. It\'s awesomely tasteful in comparison to what you general see for any on-screen graphics (news tickers, spinning logos, etc) and I hope it\'s not just a comp.. it\'d be nice to see more TV move in this direction.
