2016 RailsConf Keynote speech from
Paul Lamere into your Watch Later queue. It's an hour long and you'll want to devote some time to actually watching and enjoying it. Lamere is funny and affable as he discusses the massive wealth of data Spotify has access to and what they're able to ascertain from that insight - i.e. where's the drop in a particular song or what's the most relooped portion? They're also able to do a great deal with the Spotify API and he shows that off through a series of experiments. Even if you're not a developer of any kind, it's an excellent watch.
