Coupler - Invention I: Dreams of Strange Continents

Awhile back, I got Coupler together with diretor Craig Hill and light show artists Dig Deep to make a video for the first track off of Gifts from the Ebb Tide. If you're not familiar with Dig Deep, they create projections and installations through a number of organic methods. That's an odd term to use for a light show but they've got projectors setup with pools of colored liquids, transparency overlays and a ton of nuanced tricks for creating an absolutely beautiful, immersive, visual experience.

The video for Invention I: Dreams of Strange Continents showcases that well. Coupler isn't a band that you go to watch in the same way that you'd go see a rock band. That's why their pairing with various films works so well.

But I digress. It's a new video and I think it's compelling for the work that everyone involved contributed. I'm very happy with how it turned out and hope to make many gifs from it.
