Gallery 1988 has a show entitled
Cover Band where a number of artists were given 12x12 vinyl record covers and given carte blanche to rework their own vision into the pre-existing design. Not all of the
results do a whole lot for me but occasionally (such as pictured above) the artist gets things just right.
