I've really been enjoying the work of
Daniel Zender over the past year. There's an excellent balance of texture, handcut style and ambiguity to much of the illustration work. Lately he's also been doing a good bit of
Mono prints that push his style in a new direction. The works are more ambiguous, more textured and firmly planted in the abstract, rather than the representative. I'm into it and hope that he continues on both tracts; if that's possible. Dive into his
