Dear Jon Bon Jovi

Earlier in the week Jon Bon Jovi was quoted in an interview with the Sunday Times' saying:
Kids today have missed the whole experience of putting the headphones on, turning it up to 10, holding the jacket, closing their eyes and getting lost in an album; and the beauty of taking your allowance money and making a decision based on the jacket, not knowing what the record sounded like, and looking at a couple of still pictures and imagining it.The first part is hard to argue with. Enjoying a solid album from start to finish is an experience that everyone should enjoy. The second part, however, many people have found to be a bit over the top. Jeremy Horowitz even went as far as to write an open letter calmly explaining all the ways that the tech industry has helped the music industry, not hurt it. It's a great read and I suggest you take it in at your earliest convenience.

Steve Jobs is personally responsible for killing the music business. I hate to sound like an old man now, but I am, and you mark my words, in a generation from now people are going to say: 'What happened?
