Kevin gave me the heads up on the works of Duncan Malashock. Much of the portfolio consists of simple Flash based interactive sites that allow you to drag things around and interact with each other - quite simplistic but there's an interesting appeal to the art style. What I am drawn to the most are pieces such as Godseye 1 and 2 or Canyon Caverns that deal with a lot of light manipulation and subdued but chaotic noise. There's a somewhat nostalgic 80's vibe to the look of it but I think that gives it a familiarity that I enjoy right off the bat.
