Falkner + Moore - Make It Be

A quick primer: Jason Falkner is a musician best known for his work in Jellyfish, collaborations with AIR, Brendan Benson, Jon Brion and some wonderful solo albums.

R. Stevie Moore is known as "lo-fi legend" known for his insane output of bedroom pop songs over the last 30+ years. Over 400 albums and an unknown thousands of songs.

All that is to say, they are strange bedfellows but it's not completely bonkers that they would work together. And, they have. Make It Be is an 18-song collaboration effort between the two creative minds that is a pretty wonderful listen. I can vouch for the entire album because it was actually posted on Bandcamp three years ago and then quickly pulled down. Fortunately, that removal has resulted in Bar/None Records releasing it on vinyl. So, be on the lookout March 10th for the full release and, hopefully, future collaborations.
