Fred Herzog, Instagram

Some ten years ago I posted about the works of Fred Herzog, a German photographer that immigrated to Vancouver in the early 50's and is reknowned for his use of color street photography. Not only is his work pioneering for the time at which he was doing it and that it was in color but they're also just phenomenal images.

Ten years ago, you'd need to visit a website portfolio to appreciate these images but now they're readily available on Instagram @fredherzogphotography. I highly recommend you follow along. Some of my recent favorites are posted below for archival and historic purposes but you really can't go wrong seeing these on the regular in your feed.
