Garden State

I went out and caught Garden State last night and give to a solid "Good." It's certainly shot well (though the best shots are in the trailer), has good writing, and works as a great testament to the potential of Zach Braff but parts of it were trying a bit too hard. Also, The Shins are not the only hip indie band out there.. please vary your soundtrack (I think they were in there like 4 times?). any complaint I have about the film is minute or based on preconceived notions that didn't pan out. I think upon re-viewing the movie will climb up a bit more in the ranks.
