It's kind of great that
Google I/O has slowly become more and more of a worthwhile event - at least from the perspective of intriguing web content being released by the massive Google Beast. The
Google Design Guide will take plenty of time to digest but there plenty of other fun projects that are unveiled as well - like
Google Cardboard, a DIY kit paired with an Android app for experiencing VR. Basically, it's a corrugated Oculus powered by your phone. The site showcasing it is nice and the instructional kit is just the right amount of Maker Geek to inspire some folks to actually make it.
If that's not quite up your alley, allow yourself to be majorly distracted by
The Experiment. Seriously.
