Heaven-Sent Canine

In Jianhe county, Guizhou, China, the Miao people celebrate the legend of a dog that led the first settlers to a water source, allowing them to survive in their new home. The taigoujie, aka dog-lifting" festival, puts a single dog in a tailor-made suit and a giant wooden bamboo chair.
