Given that it is December and their name is amusingly confusing this time of year, I'd like to make note that I've been enjoying the latest release from
Holiday Music - a Boston band that is decidedly
not making Holiday Music.
John Wayne Syndrome is a nice mixture of detached vocals, spacey guitars and keyboard flourishes.
I haven't found the album on Spotify or other streaming services, so it serves as yet another healthy reminder that those destinations are
not the end-all for music discovery.
